"Good, but could use some more options"

Overall, I’m really happy with their products, but there are a few things I’d like to see them improve before they could get a full 5 stars.

First, I will say that I really like the particular type of vinyl they’re using (It just stretches, more on that later), and their overall print quality is exceptional. There’s no banding or any type of print issues, and it’s a high resolution print.

There are 3 things I’d really like to see changed / added:

First, I know they want protect their template, layout, so you can’t just download it and have it printed somewhere else, but it would be nice if they could give us the exact size with margins, so if you are getting something other than predefined pattern, or a random photo blown up, you’ll be able to properly layout your design without worry of anything getting cut off or being the wrong size.

Second, it’s a really good quality vinyl, but it stretches…badly over a large area. I have many years experience of printing and installing vinyl graphics, everything from signage, to dashboards in a car, to full vehicle wraps. You can put the material down wet, which will allow you to place and reposition the vinyl with limited stretching, but it doesn’t seem like a great idea for an electronic device, and most of the stretching happens while just pulling it off the backer. The easiest way to fix this would be to allow an option for lamination. The laminate would also protect the print, ensuring that it will last longer.

This brings me to my third recommendation, if they had a lamination option, it would be great to be able to choose between a matte and a gloss, to work with whatever suits your design more. In my case, I did a metal pattern, having a glossy laminate would really make this pop. I did a very similar design on my old 17 inch MacBook Pro, when I still worked at a print shop, and used a metallic vinyl with a classy laminate, and it appeared that the laptop was truly made out of the particular metal material light design designed it to look like. Having a glossy laminate would help achieve that better. It would also be great if they had metallic, or reflective vinyl.

I guess, overall, I’m happy with the product, and it’s cheaper and easier than buying my own printer that’s capable of printing on this type of vinyl, but I really wish they would add some additional features and improvements. If they offered a lamination option, I would happily rebuy my print. Also, for future orders, if they could give us the exact size specifications, I would be more willing to order some prints for more complex products.

"Great quality but prep your own cleaning kit"

Skin was really good quality and cutouts were precise. Overall very pleased with the product. The one thing to make it five stars is if it could include some cleaning kit as a lot of other brands usually have it included to make the whole process easier. But none a deal breaker. Thanks DecalGirl!

"Everything fit well"

Everything fit well, was easy to apply, and even easy to adjust before being pressed down for the final time. Only a few pieces for the Goggles were confusing since there wasnt an instruction sheet for it. The controller stickers were a little lacking.
