"No need to subject yourself to this poor experience"

Quite poor overall. We were told beforehand that ferries are often very full - hence the need to pre-book. However, upon arriving we discovered that there was little need to do so - plenty of space, and certainly no need to book through ferriesingreece and pay their service fee.

In terms of the actual service, it was frankly a bit of a nightmare. On both the outgoing and return journeys the ferry office was unable to print out the tickets. The attendant ended up having to write out our reference numbers by hand, and it was extra hassle we could have done without.

The return journey was abysmal. I know there is little in your hands, but a warning that the ferry is ALWAYS late would’ve been nice (seriously, how can a service make it a habit of being late... to the extent that everyone (save for unsuspecting tourtists) knows to avoid it?). In all, we ended up waiting at the sweltering port and getting in more than 2hrs later than was scheduled.

"I regret using this company"

The service fees were outrageous (one of my boat tickets was cheaper than the service fee attached to it). I thought going to Greece in high season I would need to be prepared with my tickets but my friend was able to get her tickets at the port right before the boats left and paid a lot less than I did since she wasn't charged with the hefty FerriesInGreece service fees. Will never recommend this company to anyone!

Fue una buena experiencia, reservamos en butaca con mesa y eso fue una muy buena idea ya que estuvimos cómodas y con mucho espacio, no amontonadas en miles de filas de asientos.
Los baños estaban un poco sucios y con mal olor.
El servicio de la cafetería fue bueno y a pesar de no ser muy variado, tiene cosas ricas.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY"

I book the tickets from this company, twice. From Athens to Santorini, and from Santorini to Crete, both are cancelled!!
The Santorini to Crete trip was cancelled and no explanation was given, they just told me that the ferry company cancelled the trip. They did not provide me with an alternative at first. After I ask them for help, they just ask me to take a plane etc or get another ferry. The problem is, the only ferry from Santorini to Crete was cancelled. They ask me to take a ferry from Santorini to Athens and then Athens to Crete. Wow, how much ferry time is that!!!!
As a first timer to Greece, it was a nightmare for me as all my accommodation was already booked at Crete.

Here comes the best part, they will refund you the ticket money, but the service fee of Euro18.75 will not be refunded.

Then my trip from Athens to Santorini was another nightmare. The ferry time was 7 am, and I was already at the dock waiting to board the ferry at 630am. Then at 645am, they told us the ferry was cancel due to bad sea condition!!! They just ask me to go and book from another ferry to Santorini which is moving off in another 30mins. The reason I book Seajet was that it takes 4 hours to reach Santorini from Athens, the next available ferry took 9 hours!!!
They will not refund you the service too. Very Very Very Very bad service. And the people offered very little help to a foreigner. Therefore, do not buy any tickets from this company. Buy directly from the ferry company.

"Simply great!"

From the very first e-mail until the final drop-off at our hotel, our entire experience with Ferries in Greece was simply great. The communication was done easily and professionally via e-mail (all my questions were always in less that half a day friendly and clearly answered). Their pick-up - drop-off service was perfectly on time and the driver made everything possible to keep us as comfortable as possible. The best part of all was, of course, the cruise itself. We booked a semi-private sunset cruise and could not hope for anything better. Really nice catamaran, very friendly staff, exceptional food (!! really one of our best meals in Greece) and perfect scenery. We are doing it again next year and we are bringing friends with us!

"Great service for island hopping"

Very convenient to book my whole island hopping trip in Greece this year. I would use the website again.

However I would have appreciated the booking confirmation email to inform it was better to pick up all tickets at the port in Athens (Piraeus) instead of giving addresses of travel agents on the islands. Indeed they charged me 1€ per ticket issued when there was no charge at the ferry office at the port...I was answered it was stated in terms and conditions but I expected to be given the option in the first place (collecting all tickets at Piraeus port for free vs paying a service fee on the islands).

Alternatively, e-tickets for smart phones should be developed or home printing. Hopefully soon!
