"Disappointed"
My elderly mother has used Gas Care for 14 years to install, service and repair. Boiler was leaking and Gas Care attended for 50 mins on a cold and wet Friday evening. Nothing they could do as leak coming from part they fitted 18 months ago for £600 but now out of warranty. Would not accept call out charge of £132 by card from me over phone as office closed so made her pay cash, no receipt given. I called to complain and told engineer did not follow correct procedure! Receipt now sent to me. Lack of common sense and compassion shown when dealing with worried and anxious elderly people who have no heating or hot water. A new boiler has since been installed by another company who pulled out all the stops to help.

"Boiler Problems"
We had our boiler serviced at end of september. We used it for the 1st time beginning of Nov. The heating and hot water did not turn on using the timer control it has to be switched on manually. I phoned gascare to come back and look at it as they had only just given the boiler a clean bill of health. They are going to charge £88 for half a hour just to look. I feel this is very poor service considering the circumstances. Now when everything cost so much they could have met us half way. Will never use this firm again and would never recommend them.

We have always relied on Gascare and they have never let us down. Prompt,neat,efficient and always friendly.Last weeks boiler service and 2 days later some extras that we requested carried out by the same engineer with the usual attention to detail.5 Stars not really enough !!

"Gascare poor recommendation"
Back in 2017, our old boiler died. We chose Gascare to supply and install a new Worcester combi-boiler. When their guy turned up to check dimensions, we asked him whether he would recommend a water filter, as we had one in our previous house. His reply was no, this is not needed.
Earlier in February this year, and after the boiler had been serviced every year by Gascare since 2017, it stopped delivering hot water. We called Gascare; and they identified a fault with the boiler and told us we should call Worcester in, which we did.
The Worcester guy came and took the boiler apart. Both heat exchangers were blocked by debris from the hot water circuit and had to be replaced. HE told us that really a water filter should have been installed in 2017. Luckily for us, this was covered under Worcester's warranty - but only because it was their first visit with us. The Worcester technician also found out that the Gascare installed exhaust was less than 300 mm from the roof fascias, which is not legal, and therefore had to condemn the boiler.
At that point, we called Gascare back. They sent a technician who offered to seal the fascias with silicon sealant (a 10 min job). We requested that since the damage to the boiler was a direct consequence of their poor recommendation from the installation, they should install the filter and perform a flush at their own cost. Their reply was a quote for £740, which corresponds to a £60 discount on the real value of £800. Needless to say we were not happy with that offer, but they refused to do anything else.
It is shocking to see this sort of practice. As customers with very little knowledge of such systems, we trust the supplier's expertise, and then they don't accept the consequences of their actions when this turns out to be wrong. This sort of behavious drives everyone's prices up because for some reason they wouldn't recommend the installation of an item we would have paid for.
We will not deal with Gascare anymore, and recommend everyone else to stay away as well.

"Gascare installed my gas central…"
Gascare installed my gas central heating system 10+ years ago and supplied annual servicing since then. Yesterday a failure occurred which was reported and repaired within 3 hours. I could not ask for a quicker response.

"2 years on…"
2 years ago gas care replaced 2 old boilers. 1 runnung heating and the other for hot water. They combined our old system into 1 simple system with very little disruption. 2 years on and have just had latest service. All very professional and we're very happy with the service and aftercare we recieved.

I have stopped using GasCare after many years.
They serviced my boiler, £90. Immediately after, I went to use it but it didn't start. I called them out. They came, switched it off, switched it on, it worked, charged us £84. Wanted to charge me more. Engineers are fine but company have no sense of care to their loyal customers, just out for profit. They won't make any more from me.
