Prompt response to my order, and to the difficulties encountered with payment re my Web Order.
I would've rated it 5 star but for the payment issue, which may well not be the fault of Pendle

I ordered some sports kit for my daughter for school on 2nd of September. I chased it up a week later and was told that there were a few items that had been out of stock and that my order would be with me in a few days. I asked why they hadn’t sent off what they had at the time and the man said “I don’t know, probably something to do with shipping costs”.
I then chased the order up again on the 16th of September and was told that my order had not been verified so had not been put through. I asked why they man had fed me bull the week before and was told that she didn’t know why or who it even was! She then put my order through which arrived a week later. After a few days I asked my daughter where her t-shirt was and she said that there wasn’t any in the parcel. I got on to Pendles again and was told that the items were out of stock and would be in within a few weeks. I asked why no one had emailed me about this or given me a courtesy call. She couldn’t answer that. I then asked if there was anything that could be done as my daughter was still without her full kit and was the only one in her class who looked different! I suggested (as a gesture of goodwill) that they send her one the next size up to be going on with so that she didn’t feel so bad at school. I was told that this was not possible as they can’t “just give away T-shirts!” I honestly believe that some sort of compensation was in order as we were still without goods we had paid for. She also said that the T-shirts would be with me within the next couple of weeks so was insinuating that I was making a fuss over nothing! I explained that my daughter is shy, is 11 and has just moved up to big school and doesn’t want to look different!
She eventually said she would look in the returns bin to see if there was anything there that my daughter could use and reassured me that she would get back to me later that day. That was 2 weeks ago!
Since then my delivery date has been moved twice (which I have been emailed about).
I am now expecting my parcel tomorrow, nearly 2 months after my initial order!
I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have been lied to, ignored and messed around so much, it’s unreal.
Get you act together Pendles! You can blame your suppliers all you like but it doesn’t account for the uselessness of your staff when dealing with customers!
Why lie? The first man I dealt with obviously couldn’t even be bothered to check my order. He must have been saying the same to people all day on the phone so didn’t see the point in checking! The second member of staff I spoke to promised to call me back. Why didn’t she? It takes nothing to pick up the phone to a customer!
Why didn’t you give my daughter a larger shirt to be going in with? You can’t tell me that your margins are so small that you can’t compensate!
I can honestly say that I have never had a buying experience like this one and it is one I refuse to repeat!

"Cheaper, quicker and better than their competitors"

I have personally been dealing with Pendle for a few seasons now.
Always cheaper than everywhere else for football kits, training wear and equipment, yet still great quality. Have always received everything within 1 or 2 working days. Any issues (which are very rare) are resolved within minutes over the phone, rather than days!
My current grassroots club have this season now all started to move over to Pendle.
