Unfortunately they were unable to supply the specific lamp I wanted; it was on their website but was out of stock pending a delivery. I was not aware of this when I placed, and paid for, the order but I phoned to get some idea of delivery times to my off-mainland address the day following the order. When I learned it was pending a delivery I related my experience of trying to buy the lamp at a high street shop elsewhere. Within a day they had confirmed the light would not be available, the money had been credited to my card, and the subject light removed from their website. This is the sort of service I like and would have no hesitation placing an order with them in future

I found their customer service great recently. They didn't have the exact lamp I wanted (to match another I already had) so offered a similar alterative or to wait till their next order arrived. They told me when that would arrive and emailed me a photo of the alternative lamp to help me decide. I chose to wait and the new lamp arrived exactly when they said it would. It was well packed too. Throughout they were as helpful as they could have been.

"Don’t bother"
Arrived about 10.30am today, told there were already three couples browsing so asked to wait ( it’s a big store so this seems a very small number of shoppers for the space but that’s fine if it keeps us all safe.) Given a buzzer (number 1) and told I was next and they would let me know when I could enter the store, so I went back to my car. Two more cars arrive and same process - assume they are given numbers 2 and 3 and told there could be quite a wait. 20 minutes later I am still waiting when the person with buzzer 2 goes to the door (clearly not happy) and they let her in. I go to the door and ask what is happening, they say the member of staff let her in as they didn’t know the process. I so wanted to use a local business and not go online but this quality of service is why businesses will not succeed. You have to look after your customers - a long wait isn’t great but I would have accepted it if you had treated us properly. Have since sourced the lights I wanted online so my business is lost and I won’t return. Sad!
