"Amazing experience F1 experience at Qatar"

Had an incredible experience at the Qatar F1 race on December 1st. The Grand Prix Grand Tours team were fantastic, and the seats were amazing – the views were breathtaking! The whole day was way above my expectations.

Grand Prix Grand Tours made everything so easy, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. It was the perfect way to experience the F1.

Really an unforgettable day! I hope to travel again with them soon.

"I recently attended the Qatar Gp"



I recently attended the Qatar Gp. I was due to fly out on Monday 25 Nov. On 11 Nov, I emailed the Sales Manager to enquire when the tickets etc would be dispatched. He reminded me that, as per my original booking instructions, everything would be sent out between 1 and 2 weeks prior to departure.

On 18 Nov, i received an email from the booking team stating that tickets etc would be dispatched by 25 Nov. I reminded them that I was departing on the 25th, and received a further email from the Operations Manager who reassured me that I needn’t worry.

On the 22 Nov, and to my relief I received everything, and again twice more on the 25th.

On the morning of the 25th, I received a WhatsApp from someone at Doha airport telling me that he was waiting for me. I replied telling him he was 24 hours early, and that I was still at home.

I flew overnight and arrived at approx 7am on Nov 26, to be met by no-one. I then contacted the taxi company using the number supplied by GPGT and spent ages on the phone because they could not find the booking. After exhausting the credit on my phone a member of the airport reception staff then used his phone to speak to the taxi company, a driver arrived and we left 45 minutes late. On the way to the hotel I emailed GPGT who later apologised

Saturday night after leaving the circuit, the coach was not in the same place where we had been dropped. So, it was a case of trudging along the lines of plain white coaches to find ours.

Sunday night, on returning to the coach park there was no sign of our coach so there we stood approx 20 of us, along with the local guide waiting for the coach to appear, which it did about 20 minutes later.

On returning to the UK, i no doubt along with many others was asked for feedback. I explained all the above, but guess what, YES no response. It has since been pointed out to me that the feedback form was anonymous and so, I withdraw this criticism.

Overall, the flights were fine, the Kempinski hotel was faultless, the GP seats were ideal, but it is these relatively minor issues that put a damper on a trip costing £3500, and for that price, I hoped for better.

"Great Hotel, Great seats at the circuit."

Communication very poor, didnt get any details till a couple of days before, after I kept chasing.
I'll start by saying the hotel (Fairmont on the Palm) was amazing, great location, food fantastic, staff so friendly and thats where the 'great' experience ended.
Even before we took off at Manchester I was inundated with phone calls that wouldn't connect and text messages from the company/driver in Dubai airport asking where I was. Eventually after hassle I got in touch to say I hadnt even took off! Obviously something went wrong with communication!
Flight was great, food nice plenty film choice etc.
Landed in Dubai, was told the driver would clearly have a sign with my name, spent 45mins looking for him and calling the company who told me he was there. Eventually found him standing right at the back chatting to his mates, he had an a4 sheet with GPGT logo, that was so faded it was hard to see (no name) everyone else I spoke to said there name was clearly visible.
Got to the hotel to check in for our 5 nights in a twin room which was stated on my booking ref. The reception informed me they only had a reservation for 2 night in a double room. Totally unacceptable as I was travelling with my brother. This information was relayed to GPGT on numerous occasions! Thankfully the hotel was able to sort is.
Thurs & Fri we made our own way to & from the track, Taxi cost about £50 each way. Organisation at the track was really poor, however there was loads going on so we enjoyed that. Even though we missed the pit walk because it was not busy they had to close it.
On the Saturday & Sunday transport was provided. However, Qualifying started on Saturday at 2.30 but we were told the bus was leaving the hotel at 1pm, considering its at least 1 hour in a taxi in NO traffic to
Abu Dhabi, then it would take probably over an hour to get from the bus to your seats, so even in good traffic there was no way you would make quali! People we spoke to who got the bus, missed ALL of quali. Thankfully we had decided to get a taxi earlier in the morning. Even then the queues to get in were big. You also had to queue with thousands of people to get a wrist band for the concerts and they kept running out so eventually we decided to give the concerts a miss.
Though the race on the Sunday was 5pm and the bus was leaving at 12 we had already decided to get taxis again. Far too much hassle, the bus also wasn't allowed near the circuit so it was a very long walk.
Once the race was finished people who were on the bus had to rush away and missed the celebrations to walk the half hour back to the bus, thats before you even got out the circuit as the queues were huge, so many bottle necks. The return bus was leaving at 8pm. Left no time to enjoy the celebrations and the long walk back.
Even checking out from the hotel to get our 'organised' transport back to the airport was a shambles GPGT sent a message with our drivers name and phone number, however going out of reception there was at least 15 cabs waiting and loads of people all waiting for transport. Everyone was wondering about looking for their driver, we even called him but he didnt answer, for a 10.30 pickup we didnt find him till just before 11am. All the guests from GPGT all said the same about the organisation, no one was happy. How easy would it have been for the cab driver to hold up your name, simple problem solved.
This was an expensive trip that I looked for to so much that was just flawed with poor organisation. Think very carefully before considering this company.

So to recap, great hotel, location, stunning views,
and great food, staff amazing, weather was beautiful, great seats at the circuit, atmosphere was fantastic, met some lovely people but the organisation from GPGT was a shambles.

I attended Qatar F1 and GP Motorsport facilitated the purchase of the tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The choice of the stand was great. The tickets were flawlessly transferred well in time.

"An epic 3 days away at the Monza F1 Grand Prix."

A truly amazing and epic 3 days away for the Monza F1 Grand Prix.

I booked our tour package a year ago which included private transport to and from our hotel from and to the airport, 3 days B&B at a 5* Melia Milano hotel in Milan, transport back and forth to the F1 track with 2 day access and great seats over the track overlooking the pit lane and the podium.

My initial intrepidation of purchasing the package from the company 'Grand Prix Grand Tours GPGT', a company I hadn't used before, was short lived as our trip became closer. Final communication of our tickets confirming track access as well as numbers of who to contact in any event over the weekend including our private transport hire to and from the airport.

As a new customer travelling with this company, our expectations were certainly exceeded. This was also our 1st trip to watch a F1 race. Not bad for the 1st one in Italy!

All service from the agent James and all at GPGT company was exemplary with full communication throughout our order.

The private airport transfer through an approval company - LimoLane, (nice Mercedes on both trips), collected us from the airport with our name on a name board. I was made aware who will be our driver with a contact number if we needed to contact them.

The coach that took us to the track and back to the hotel collected us from outside our hotel and parked us as near to the track as possible over the 2 days. Due to the amount of people there for the same thing, be prepared to do alot of walking. We did around 50k steps over the 3 days!

Our hotel was really nice. All staff we're very friendly and accommodating. They recommended and booked restaurants for us for our 2 remaining evenings. Breakfast was reasonably busy but always a table available. A varied self service food counter of fresh eggs, sausages, tomatoes baked beans and other items were available. Also the usual cheeses and hams plus juices and coffees.

My son and I made full use of our time in Milan while we were also able to watch Inter Milan play at the epic San Siro stadium on our first night!

If you're looking for an experience of personal touch and being really well looked after, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company. Service and quality can come at a price. However, for an unforgettable, unique and surreal experience, I wouldn't go any further.

"Excellent experience - highly recommended"

We've just returned from the Monza GP organised by GPGT. I cannot recommend the company highly enough. Everything was organised perfectly from the flights, transfers, hotel, bus transfers to the circuit and the tickets. We went as a family of 4 and all had a wonderful time. We will certainly be booking through them again!

"Amazing"

From booking with the company took all the hassle out from ourselves. You was kept upto date with instructions the flights transfers accommodation tickets hotel. The Italian Monza grand prix was amazing the atmosphere superb it was very hot thou you did have to stand in the shade if your not used to the hot sunny weather like us brits. I give 5 stars we are now looking to book again maybe somewhere else but I would definitely recommend monza and booking with this company I will be using them everytime now and for friends and family keep up the good work you all do Monza 30/8/24 to 02/09/24

"First experience booking with grand prix tours"

This is our first time booking with Grand Prix Tours & won't be the last.. everything was organised extremely well from private transfers to & from the hotel, more very comfortable transfers to & from the moto gp, early morning breakfast provided to us before going to the track..absolutely fantastic service! All we had to do was turn up & enjoy. Thank you so much. We definitely will be returning x
