Recipe cards are super easy to follow and I was amazed that I cooked a meal that wasn’t just plain meat/fish and Veg. Really great feastbox!!

The recipe cards are wonderful and the food is delicious however we were missing many ingredients. Noodles, Papaya, Harissa paste, Rice, coconut yoghurt and a green chilli. Our delivery was also delayed last minute.

"Missing items"

Box received late, informed one item had been swapped out and 10% discount would apply on
Next order. Box missing multiple items so complete meal card couldn’t be made x 2. Flagged to customer services no reason offered or offer of discount for missing items/delayed box
10% discount not applied to next order.
Response from customer services was bland and unhelpful.

My order was delayed by the week and when I finally received it it was missing half of the ingredients.

So basically out of 4 meals for 4 people I can cook ONE, and even that one is missing some ingredients.
This is ridiculous.

"Two meals, two problems"

Two meals, two problems which is a shame as the meals are otherwise good.
Both arrived in the same box. One meal had a mouldy and squidgy cucumber, the other had an important ingredient missing. The items were not all labelled and the 'use by' date of the meat was within a couple of days of receipt. Their response? They'll raise it with their packers. Unacceptable.

"Cannot recommend"

I ordered 4 meals, and was given a delivery date not too far into the future.
However I then recieved an email explaining that they were unable to fulfill the order due to being very busy. Understandable I thought in these Covid19 times. The delivery date was put back by 2 weeks, but this wasn't convenient for me so I cancelled the order all together.
I was then surprised to hear from Feast to say that my order had been despatched, was arriving the next day and being delivered by DHL.
The 4 meals did arrive the following day, late in the afternoon. They had been in transit for 24 hours. The icepacks within the box were no longer ice, but the meat did feel cool.Problem was we had 4 meals, but the use by date only gave us 2 days to use the meat, so 2 packs of meat went into the freezer, and the other 2 into the fridge.
Indonesian Chicken Satay - easy to make and tasted great. Problem was both my husband and myself were ill the following day. Must've been something we ate.
Kachin Chicken with Fried Rice - Never got to try this. We threw the meat away, it was putrid and stank the kitchen out when we opened the pack. Plus some ingredients were missing.
Kofta Bi Tahini - Mah. The sauce split in the oven, and only a small potato was provided so not enough to cover the top of the dish.
Minced Pork & Vermicelli - Very easy to make and tasted excellent. One of the pots of chilli was missing, but just as well really.Still feeling a bit fragile after the chicken satay.
I won't use the service again. I don't have faith that the meat is a fresh as it could be. A few ice packs to keep something chilled for 24 hours really isn't sufficient.

"Nice recipes but shambolic service"

The communications have been very poor. My box was due to be delivered on 30 March but was delayed until 9th April. I called on the day to ask if the box was definitely coming, I got an email an hour later saying it wasn't coming that day and it would be coming the following week, I'd that I would get a text ON THE DAY that it was arriving. All of this meant it was impossible to plan meals for 30 March, 9th April, or the day it eventually arrived (17th April). I understand the delay was due to Covid-19, but surely the communications could be better to allow people to plan meals.

When the box arrived, the tumeric was unsealed and spilled all over the bag, an ingredient was missing from one bag, and all the meat (4 meals worth) was "use by" the day after the box arrived.

It's a shame because the recipes were nice (although badly explained in places, eg "boil the rice and brown the pork" all being one step, where it would be clearer as two separate steps and with a couple of typos).

The box is expensive for what you get and the chaotic nature of the service means I'm unsubscribing.
