"Complete Foundation Photography Course was brilliant!"

I chose to do that complete foundation photography course to learn to use my mirrorless camera in manual mode effectively. The course was engaging, well-taught and concise and LIoP have given me a great foundation knowledge to build on. I've come away highly motivated to build a portfolio and can't recommend the course enough.

The courses at LIoP are limited to 8 people and are intimate and friendly .They are a fantastic introduction to professional photography as well as ideal for the enthusiastic amateur. Days tend to be divided into a morning of theory and an afternoon of practical.
The tutors are superb and the studio at the Brick Lane fully equiped. I have done the portrait and fashion modules so far- the highlight of the latter was when we spent the last day at a professional photography studio with a model,makeup artist and costume designer.
I can honestly say LIoP run the best photography courses in London.

"LIoP Fashion Studio Course October 2019 5*"

I took the one week Fashion Studio Photography Course with LIoP in October 2019. It was brilliant from start to finish. Thorough classroom style lessons; starting with theory and then putting into practice around a dozen different lighting techniques using a multitude of flash heads and modifiers.

As a small group of seven we were taught to achieve different aesthetics from classic Rembrandt lighting through to shooting with colored gels to create a more stylized look. Eliška and Holger are excellent at what they do, highly knowledgable, creative and open to helping their students as much as they can. The same can be said of the make up artist and stylist we had for the later part of this course.

The final day's shoot was fantastic with two professional agency signed models shared between two smaller groups in our instance. Each student was allotted a generous amount of time to work with the model, MUA and stylist to shoot their own portfolio set from their own ideas and inspirations. With the help of fellow students as assistants this hands on learning aspect was incredibly helpful to cement the skills learnt in the classroom and of course Eliška or Holger were on hand throughout to help perfect the lighting and posing of the model.

All in all I came away with a new understanding of studio lighting and the confidence to organize and shoot my own Fashion set's in the future. Ten out of ten would recommend. If your on the fence for any reason I would say take the leap, you won't be disappointed. I can honestly say I learnt more technical lighting skills here than during my entire degree.

I did the fashion course and I learned a lot, not only during class hours but when we were in the studio as well. Eliska was very good when it came to explaining and going more in depth when it came to the practice portion of the class time.

"Social Media Course"

I really enjoyed this course. Even though I know a reasonable amount about Twitter and Instagram and have good followings on both, it taught me how to use Light Room on my phone and this about how I present my posts and tweets to engage with followers and friends. Cat is an excellent teacher with plenty of experience and a friendly disposition. I would highly recommend her courses..

"One year at Liop"

I really enjoyed my year at Liop because it was for me a complete experience as much human as professional. I met teachers who helped me to go beyond my own limits and to believe in my vision. I miss my words to describe how I feel so much emotion is huge. Friends and family around me can see that something happened to me, yes I think : I was born again. I’m very grateful and I will really never forget this journey.

Recently I`ve taken the intermediate photography course with LIOP after following the beginner course last year with them.

"I recently took the website design…"

I recently took the website design course having struggled to do a website myself. The course answered a lot questions I had, and dealt with a lot of the problems I had encountered. Finally I have the tools to get my website up and running. Lovely location/easy to get and great facilities. The tutor was very hands on and happy to help with all queries. Thank you very much.
