Despite being a repeat customer and not having any issues with my past purchases, my most recent purchase the atomiser stopped working. Despite showing proof of the atomiser not working, they only offered a measley £5 discount to buy a whole new bottle. I first contacted them asking if they could direct me to wear I could get a replacement for the atomiser, they ignored me and then eventually answered asking when I purchased. I purchased on the 30th of January, I had used the perfume about 4-5times before the atomiser stopped working, so it's still a full bottle. I showed then video evidence of the atomiser not working. They claimed that as per TikTok return policy I can't get a return after 30days, but I didn't ask for a return or refund, just a replacement for the atomiser because the perfume is currently useless.
After checking my Consumer Rights, I learned that I would still be entitled to a refund or replacement as the item no considered satisfactory for intended use. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a refund or replacement for a faulty product. A £5 discount on a repurchase does not resolve the issue, especially as it would cost me more than I originally paid. In fact, even with the £5 discount it still ends up costing most than what I originally paid because they've increased the price now, like they're trying to scam me into buying another one when the one I already bought is faulty.
What I don't understand is that, I've bought 4 perfumes from them, so clearly it's not like I don't like their products, I've left positive reviews before, so I understand why they can't do the honest good faith thing of at least offering to replace or offer a discount that covers most of the cost of a new perfume +pp.
I am quite disappointed by their response, I might understand if I was maybe a first time buyer, but no, I've been a repeat buyer and now they have absolutely lost a customer. I am business owner myself and I absolutely would never treat clients who have patronised my business especially multiple times like this. This is not an honest way to trade.
