My book cover turned out fine. The people who responded to the emails were polite and tried their best to have a clear vision of what you want the design to look like.

But the revision process was extremely tiresome, When you give a specific detail chances are high that you need another revision because they did not listen well.

After around 5 revisions and a handful of emails later explaining what I wanted to see I got a book cover that was meeting some of my expectations.

I will work again in the future with the sister company Milblart. Hopefully the revision will be less of a hassle there.

First, they charge you extra for 1-day service. But that 1-day only applies to the first version they send. Even when they make a mistake, such as putting the wrong author's name on your book cover, they take 48-72 hours to send the corrections to their mistakes.

Second, they only ever send you one option. They'll be happy to keep making changes to the one option, but you really need weeks to get to a final product, particularly if you would like to compare even the simplest design concept. Something as simple as a light background verses a dark background. Or one font verses another font. Count on 48-72 hours for them to send every alternative or change.

Third, even if given clear and detailed instructions about the cover you want created, they only read part of the information or sometimes don't read it at all.
