"Pouch size & recipe change."
I had a subscription via Amazon to receive 1 box of 84x 100g pouches every 4 weeks. That was perfect for my cat- 3 meals a day of his favourite food.
Now I've had to cancel that subscription because the product has been discontinued. The popular 100g pouches have been replaced with 85g pouches. And with a more expensive price.
A one time purchase of a box of 84x 100g pouches used to cost £28.35 on Amazon.
Now a box of 84x 85g pouches costs £30.42.
That's £2.07 more for 1,360g less. It's a disgrace.
I used to just rip open the pouch, slide out the food, and that was his meal- but now I'd have to either feed him 4 & 1/2 meals or give him 1 pouch and a bit more from another pouch. Both of which are incredibly inconvenient.
Not only that, but everyone seems to be saying they've changed the recipe and their cats won't eat it. Cats are famously picky eaters as Whiskas should know. Why fix what isn't broken?
It's clear that this company places profits over the convenience of their customers and the well being of their pets.
I'm going to have to switch to another brand and I recommend anyone else to do the same.

"High Quality Ingredients....NOT!!!"
Have just wasted £26 on a Mega Pack of 1+ Whiskas Poultry Feasts in jelly, my cats won't go near it and they have been eating Whiskas products all their lives. Wasted another fiver trying them with 12 pack of Fish Favourites in jelly and again they are not interested. Found out that the recipe has changed and they have reduced the packet size too, all without informing the consumer. Will not buy any more Mars products again.

"Not Happy!"
I have always bought Whiskas and couldn’t understand why my cat wouldn’t eat it until I noticed it’s a new recipe. I sent an email to Whiskas via contact us link on their website about 3 weeks ago- not even an acknowledgment. They don’t deserve our custom. My cat wouldn’t eat Whiskas but is now eating Gourmet in gravy. So relieved he’s eating it but it’s more expensive.

"Whiskas food has made our cat vomit"
Whiskas food has made our cat vomit and made them very ill. I am very unhappy with the changes that have been made. As we are now on the expensive hunt to find new food that they will eat. As Whiskas was the only brand they would eat. I will not be buying from them again!

"A company with no customer service who only care about profits"
I am not upset by the lowering packet size of the Whiskas pouches from 100g to 85g. They are just another greedy business. However the fact they have changed the recipe is devastating for my cats. Having tried so many foods for them when I got them 13 years ago, Whiskas were the only food that didn’t make them sick. Now I’m back to square one. Their new recipe has made one cat sick and the other looks like I’m poisoning her. To do this and not offer the old food is outrageous for such a huge brand. Maybe just put the price up and have a new poison range along side it, cheaper, you greedy unscrupulous company!

"From a 100g down to 85g with a recipe…"
From a 100g down to 85g with a recipe change, cat doesn't eat it, tried loads of other doesn't eat them either, unfortunately the only thing he's eating is biscuits, dunno what else to do. Go back to the old recipe whiskers!.

"What has Whiskas done to the sachets of…"
What has Whiskas done to the sachets of their cat food? The recipe is not the same and the size has gone from 100g to 85g😡 They have increased the price so much and now cut how much is in the sachets. Goodbye Whiskas as you seem to be making a joke of us who love our cats. So so angry.

"They've changed recently"
They've changed recently. I bough 2 40 pack boxes as my cat has always eaten it. It's now mushy & he won't touch it. That's 28.00 of good money wasted which has really affected my budget for a couple of weeks & I've got to spend more money finding a different brand he likes.

"Whiskas now giving our cat diarrhoea."
Our cat has been on Whiskas for about 2 years (after going off of the Felix brand for some reason). It has been increasingly difficult to get hold of the Whiskas delight 7+ senior food and also the delight 11+ senior food, so have only been able to order the 7+ through Pets At Home online. No supermarket is stocking it whatsoever. Since January 2023 our indoor cat developed really soft poop - some days like a cow pat, some days slightly normally formed, but always soft and messy - not normal at all. Thinking it was just a one off tummy upset we continued with the whiskas in the morning and his Royal Canon biscuits in the evening, but changed the whiskas box to the poultry version (he was on the fish variety). Still the same bad poop, sometimes diarrhoea. It is now March 2023 - the vet confirmed he was perfectly healthy after a check up, I have changed his wet food to a Royal Canin one, and he is back to normal poop. I don't know what Whiskas have done to their food since Jan 2023 but it was bad for our cat. He is the fussiest of eaters, and Royal Canin is far from cheap! He's not even a fan of their wet food, so only eating it as a last resort. I wish Whiskas hadn't changed their recipe, however I will never be buying it again.

"Disgrace"
Disgrace. They’ve changed the recipe and now I have an 8 month old kitten who wouldn’t look twice at this food even if it was the last thing on earth.
Why change something which was perfectly fine?
