"5 out of 5 stars. It is a great way to learn the fundamentals of SQL"
The instructor was very knowledgeable and experienced. The course was well-structured and easy to follow. Each week, we focused on a new topic and built on our knowledge from the previous week.
The hands-on exercises and projects were very helpful. They allowed me to practice what I was learning and to develop my SQL skills.
The instructor was always available to answer questions and provide support. He was very responsive to emails and he often held extra help sessions for students who needed it.

"Basically good"
Good useful functions covered the content. Little more background on which logical thinking to apply would be helpful both in theory and when applying the functions in all the practice exercises.

"Amazing course to have in your toolkit!"
Such a great experience!
Courses (especially fully online courses like most are these days) are not just about what happens in class but also the prep, the follow up, the answers in between. And Cognitas managed to have all of those covered in a top class way.
Ties and Max managed to not only share their wealth of technical knowledge, from the very basic to the more advanced, but added another layer by giving real world, day-to-day, work applicable examples.
Looking forward to applying as many of these learnings in my work going forward and potentially attending future course offerings! Vlad

"Great way to start your SQL journey!"
Max and Ties make a great pair of instructors.
Taking you from the first principles of SQL, they layer and they build to allow you not just to know how to structure a query, but how to take a business ask and turn it into a query.
The approach is a ladder and you need to do the work to understand(this is not a turn up and get ther certificate course), but the folks are always there to answer queries.
It is super interactive - if you want to be camera off and not participate, then that is fine. However you will get so much more out of this if you play an active role.
Can't wait to start putting what I learned in practice, but I likely don't want to see multi joins for a while yet.

"SQL for Analysts Masterclass"
This course is really good if you want to understand the basics of SQL and build up into more complex data queries. It also gives you nice tips and tricks on how to approach answering a business question through SQL. And it's clear that the instructors from Cognitas really know what they are talking about as well!

"A great experience"
A great experience. The instructor's informal approach made it enjoyable and their deep knowledge made sure we learned a lot in a short amount of time. The 2 hours a week, along with homework, was a manageable commitment.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn SQL but is reluctant to get started.

"The fun way to learn SQL"
I would have never imagined that an SQL class can be that fun and rewarding. Max & Ties are great instructors with a lot of patience and support (also outside of the classes). They make the class super fun, filled with great jokes and funny cases. Laughter & sense of accomplishment guaranteed. Can't wait to use my newly learned skills in real life.

"Fun and useful course"
Although I had some SQL knowledge, I was never able to get to a level I felt confident in writing in script. Thanks to this instructor-led course, I found the confidence and missing knowledge that I was lacking from self-taught courses and the bit of fun that is always welcome when learning.

"Excellent!"
This was a excellent course with great instructors. Max and Ties have a great depth of knowledge which they were able to pass onto the the class via the workshops and homework exercises. I happen to find the subject interesting as I could see the endless possibilities to automate much of my day to day work, which will free me up to do other things. Ties was especially generous with his knowledge, giving us all tips and insight into the world of data analysis and data engineering, both very interesting fields to learn more about.
