"Avoid at all costs!"

My wife and I booked her over a year ago for our wedding she agreed to do our flowers for us on the budget that we could afford, not a big job compared to other weddings, just the brides bouquet, 11 jam jars of flowers, two of which where forget me nots which we were having for sentimental reasons and 8 button holes. She sent an unprofessional invoice and we paid her in full.
My wife would send her a message every now and again to ask what flowers she intended to put in the bouquet as we were trying to find faux flowers for our centre pieces to match, she would either ignore us or send flowers that we hadn’t asked for or that were not in our colour scheme. She even decided to tell our cake maker (who is next door) that we had changed our colour scheme, which wasn’t true.
Then 5 days before the wedding she tells us that she cannot get peonies, which were the main flower in the bouquet, even though she assured us that they’d be in season and didn’t make any suggestions as to what we could have instead. Being a florist you’d think she’d know they wouldn’t be in season and also being a florist she’s the best person to suggest what to replace them with. We asked her if the faux peonies that we had for our centre pieces would work and she said yes and to post them through the letter box at the shop along with some ribbon for the button holes, which we did.
The day of the wedding arrives and she made a bouquet of flowers which looked nothing like what we had paid for, were also unfinished and even missing a few things including the peonies that we posted claiming that we didn’t post them but some how the ribbon was on the button holes. The button holes arrived as a 6 instead of 8, the jars of flowers were not placed where they should of been even though we told her the night before where they needed to go, the forget me nots where no where to be seen and to top it all off she left my wife’s bouquet on a table in the bar of the venue for everyone to see, not telling anyone they were there, she didn’t want to take them to my wife as she knew she’d not done what was paid for. Our venue dresser had to call her to get her to come back to finish the job, when she arrived she did bring two button holes but they were missing ribbon, one even snapped and she claimed that she didn’t have any forget me nots and then refused to fix the bouquet and walked out. My father in law and the dresser then had to fix the bouquet, she face timed her friend who talked her through it and she also tried her best to find something to put instead of the forget me nots.
Ruth, the owner of The Flower Garden, this whole time has been short, rude and incredibly unprofessional for the past year. She constantly mocked that our budget was too small and wanted us to give her more money to do the job that she had already agreed on and was already paid for. Twice she threatened to pull out and give us our money back, a month before the wedding and as you can see she hasn’t done her job properly, we’ve asked her for the money back for the work she hasn’t done and the flowers that she didn’t provide and she has refused, instead of resolving the situation she has attacked my wife via WhatsApp calling her a “nightmare” and that that she “gives our marriage three years” she has since deleted said comments but luckily we managed to get a screen shot before she could and if you head to her Facebook page you’ll see all the other rude and vile comments that she has made to others regarding this situation.
I urge you to avoid this company at all costs, she has caused my wife many stressful nights, tears and is just down right rude.

"baby girl flowers"

I ordered a basket arrangement for my daughter who had just given birth to a baby girl, our first grandchild. What was delivered was a pretty pathetic bunch of flowers in a vase. my daughter was told that they had no baskets so sent bouquet instead, but nobody contacted me to advise of this change. When i saw the flowers , i was so upset i couldn't even phone straightaway to complain. The flowers hadn't even been arranged properly in the vase and there was a very untidy ribbon. I contacted the shop after a couple of days to express my disappointment and eventually she offered to send them again once she had the baskets- though she even asked if she could have the vase back !- That was over 4 weeks ago and nothing has happened . Very disappointed in both the product and the service at what was supposed to be a special time .

"Highly recommended"

Highly recommended. Wanted Churnet Valley furniture, which I Highly rate, but service not so. Flower Garden, was better price, and excellent customer service. 5 *

Absolutely stunning flowers and arrangements! They catered for my needs and nothing was too much to ask!

Lovely people to have spoken with and Amazon servies!

I would absolutely recommend this florists and will use them again in the future!
