We have used 8' straps on the rear bike carrier of our VW T6 to carry a folded paddleboard. On a separate occasion one inflated paddleboard on the roof on our trip to Wales this week. If you need to carry 2 inflated paddleboards on the roof you need longer straps. They work very well.
