After a poor start bringing the wrong boiler then going for the right one work finally started at 1pm. Once started lads done a good tidy efficient job very pleased with instalation, guys were pleasant and tidied up on finishing job so would recommend all concerned from survey to installation team thanks for everthing. Ps guy who done survey was very thorough and new his job very well.

After my dad having a boiler installed on a grant, we've been disappointed all of the way.
Punctuality... Not their strong point. We had an appointment for a survey booked. No show. When I rang, I was told the appointment time I'd confirmed 3 times was incorrect. They turned up later than the time they'd told me.
I can't fault the technicians when they've been here. They are polite, helpful, and get on with the work.
The next issue was to find out they were installing a thermostat we had specifically told them we didn't want. I'd explained it had to be super simple to use for my disabled dad. It's anything but simple. The receiver was also installed touching the boiler. The installation guide highlights that it must be at least 30cm away due to interference. The thermostat routinely disconnected until the receiver was moved.
We then discovered a leak on the condensate pipe. Two people attempted to fix this, but it is still ongoing. I type this having had an appointment yesterday at 10.30am only for nobody to show. I had to chase them up. I was then told they'd be with me today and would call before they came. At 4pm having had no contact I again chased up, only to be fobbed off until 8am Monday. Time will tell if they show up.
The customer service at the office is abysmal. You will hear many apologies and be assured they're doing everything they can, but this amounts to nothing. I would be 100% more understanding had anyone at any point actually rang us to let us know they were running behind/couldn't make it, etc, instead of us having to chase them constantly.
UPDATE... 8am Monday morning and again a no show. Upon chasing them yet again, I'm now being told it's a different engineer that's coming, and they'll be here within the hour. After being informed I'm working all day from 9am. No apology, no explanation, basically I have to just suck it up and deal with their incompetence and lies.
Give this company a wide berth. The aggravation just isn't worth it.
UPDATE 2... Surprise surprise, they didn't turn up within the hour. I was then told they'd be there about 11 and would ring when they were almost there. No call. No show at 11. After being on the phone constantly chasing them, an engineer finally turned up just before 12. On Monday, two days before Christmas. For an appointment the previous Thursday at 10.30am. He called to let me know he was on my doorstep and sounded aggrieved I kept him waiting whilst I put my dogs away to answer him, after not calling to let me know he was almost here. I asked for a call as I was out back and couldn't hear the door. Simple? Not for this company.
UPDATE 3... So we've since been having problems with the boiler over pressurising. I called out the company that does the warranty as I didn't want to deal with the aggravation from this company again. We were told basically that the flush they'd performed had been inadequate, and they'd added too much inhibitor so the gases were building up in the system. This meant our warranty was invalid until certain work was carried out. A water test was done, results returned, and we had this company return to do the work advised. The engineer told us we needed to do nothing, and they would send the proof of work off to the warranty company so our warranty would be reinstated. A couple weeks go by and this hadn't been done (surprise). I was then left chasing them to send me the proof, so I could send it off.
At this time, the director contacted us asking us to remove this review. They'd offer 2 annual services free. I don't trust them so asked for a letter outlining their offer, which was "sent 1st class" over 2 weeks ago. Nothing. I was then told another would be sent 4 days ago recorded delivery. Still nothing.
This company uses shady practices to portray themselves as what they aren't, and I fully believe without it in writing (that they refuse to send), they have no intention of following through with their offer.
