Commercial Gas & Boiler Services

"Unresponsive and unprofessional"
Unresponsive don't waste your time with this poor excuse of a company. They took my time and and money and could not be bothered to take my calls. Both unprofessional and poor service. It costs nothing in business to be courteous and polite. Stay away from this company. Let my experience be a WARNING!

UPDATE
****************
Commercial Gas Boilers have ZERO CREDIBILITY. They say they are awaiting a quote from the independent engineer to rectify some of the issues. The independent engineer has informed me that he hasn’t been asked to provide a quote
****************************************************************
In October, I paid Commercial Gas & Boiler Services Ltd (CGBS) £876 to supply and install 2 panel heaters and 2 thermostats. They told me I couldn’t pay by credit card and had to pay them by BACS bank transfer (that should have been a red flag to walk away from them).
They did a botched job with the installation
1. The heater in living room is warped
2. The thermostat in living room is defective – the Room temperature on the thermostat is 2-3 degrees higher than the actual temperature. (The Room temperature on the hall thermostat is correct)
3. The thermostat in hall is not fitted properly
4. The wiring is amateurishly installed and looks terrible
5. Rather than installing a plug socket in the hall, the cable of the hall heater has been fed through a hole in the skirting board and plugged into a trailing extension lead in the living room
I sent them an email of complaint and it’s taken them 8 months to send out an engineer to look at the installation.
Here’s the engineer’s report
1. The heaters supplied are not suitable for the purpose required & will be insufficient in heating the rooms
2. the Hall heater is fitted at low level & would be subject to damage bearing in mind the occupant is disabled
3. the installation is of a very poor standard & requires refitting
4. the Hall thermostat is defective & is in a dangerous condition & could cause electric shock
5. the Hall heater has no means of local isolation a requirement of BS 7671
Conclusion. The installation is substandard & is not fit for purpose & requires a full replacement installation .
People have advised me to demand a full refund and report them to Trading Standards. I will take this all the way with Trading Standards to get a full refund.
I have requested a full refund from them. They haven’t got back to me.
I am severely disabled with Cerebral Palsy. It might that Commercial Gas & Boiler Services think they can take advantage of me.
Also, they sent me a quote for £786 to supply and fit a kitchen waste disposal unit. Are they cowboys?
