"Worst experience"

Hi I just want to share my experience at at chipkoo. when i first started at chipkoo, i was really excited after being told that we would be guided throughout the whole process with mentors, opportunities to evolve our skills, etc. This led me to believe i was in safe hands and that i can knuckle down and focus on improving my skillsets and learn. Little did i know that i wasn't given any mentorship, no actual work but was force towards doing something i didn't apply for. After speaking to my fellow workers, they all said the same thing that they signed up for one job but eventually got forced towards tutoring coding on scratch. That was the first red flag. i thought to myself "is this all a lie? why is everyone saying the same thing, they signed up to do cloud computing but ended up being forced to teach scratch to kids." False promises was always made, being told that exciting things were on the horizon only to be met with a deafening silence for the next few weeks, rinse and repeat for months. Something is happening behind the scenes, i dont know what but something. Contacting the CEO was difficult, therefore we had line managers. Line managers are suppose to help and ease our concerns...guess what? they didn't. The line manager i got was very robot like, didn't listen to our concerns and was very combative when a concern was brought up. She would constantly ignore any questions, it was like talking to a brick wall. I would ask a question or bring up a concern, she would follow up with unrelated things and ignore the concern. It felt like she was reading from a script and only had a few lines of responses in her. Others would complain to me about her but was afraid to bring it up, so when i did she told me to mind my own fricking business. Lord only knows how she got the job. The CEO was a very nice man on a personal level but his operation/line managers were boarderline disgraceful. He didn't listen to valid points that were being made and carried on his operations like normal. A broken operation that is on the brink of collapsing. One thing i brought up that was ignore was that why are newbies at the job in charge of all the important creation of the operation? isnt it better to spend a bit more money on hiring someone with decades of experience to do that, so all the newbies at the job can learn from, instead of doing all the work using google search? nothing changed.

I have been working at Chipkoo Labs for about 3 months now and so far it has been an amazing experience. I love working with everyone at Chipkoo Labs. I love to develop and at the same time help the company I work for develop. Chipkoo Labs is a new, developing Company which means it will be very exciting and easy for me to develop while helping the Company to develop too. I loved working at Chipkoo Labs so far and I hope to work here for a very long time.

It has fashioned me to prepare myself more for my career development and when entering any workforce. I've been able to learn, unlearn and relearn sustainable and countless skills like personal branding, CV/resume writing, career and Job Readiness, jobs and interviews insights and personal development plan during the mentoring session which has made my career paths and prospects more clearer than ever.

Thank you Chipkoo Labs for this amazing opportunity, helping every student all around the globe to launch their careers with all the awesome personalities learnt during the program. A great experience it is.
