We had a frustrating experience with "Richard the owner of FloorWorld Devonport" in Tasmania Aus.
We purchased our Floating Flooring from FloorWorld Devonport. They come to our place and did the measurement themselves plus they added extra 3% to our order for waste that we paid for.
After the flooring was done and finished we had 3 unopened boxes left. We took the extra boxes back to get a refund but they didn't want to know about it.!!
Richard told us that they will not take anything back...the whole thing didn't make any sense and it was very frustrating experiance talking to Richard, as he was very rude to us and he didn't want to know about it at all, eventhough they did the measurement themselves and he didn't want to take any responsibility for that.
Just "Be Aware" when doing business with 'FloorWorld Devonport'.! Make sure you double check "their" measurements!! Specially when purchasing 'floating floor'!!! because if you have any extra unopened box or boxes extra, they will not refund anything even if they have done the measurement themselves. We tried to talk to Richard but his rude and aggressive attitude proved to us that this person knows zero customer service.!!! All in all we were very disappointed with Richard the owner and we regretted that we bought our chosen product from "FloorWorld Devonport".
We have dealt with Simon's carpet and Wyllie tiles many times in the past anyway also recently and we never had this experience.!

I had a terrible experience with Floorworld. I live in Jumeirah Park and got them to do my flooring and skirting. The flooring was fine but the issue came with the skirting. Their skirting is only MDF which isn't waterproof. JP has a high water table, meaning there is a fair bit of ground water that soaks into the walls of the villas. Floorworld know this and still they
blatantly sell you their non-water resistant skirting. Hidden in the T&Cs it says their warranty doesn't cover water damage. They don't give you an explanation of risks of what will happen with their skirting if it is affected by the water table. After selling this to in an unconscionable manner they take no responsibility. What's worse when you ask them for a quote to fix the issue, they ignore you for over a month.

Please take time to read this to save yourself the hassle, money, frustrations and stress of dealing with this incredibly poor company. I would give less than 1 star if i could.
What they offer is NOT what they deliver. From day one their work teams and site supervisors come and look for excuses not to be able to start work (I have later realized why they are opposed to starting the work and why they are constantly delayed in coming and actually getting the job done). They will then proceed to put the floors in as quick as possible but that means not asking essential questions such as if you want the floor glued or not. In my case i own the villa and having it glued would be the better option for me but they simply just installed the floor and subsequently all the floorboards started to come apart leaving huge gaps between the boards. They offered to rectify which we accepted but only did one floor, then disappeared never to complete the work.
In respect of skirting they cut as many corners as they cut skirting! they simply slap them on the walls with no regards to the esthetics meaning that large gaps was everywhere in corners and the universal approach to covering that was simply to fill the holes with Silicon - it looks absolutely terrible.
Then came the stairs, they tried 4 different teams to put in floors on our staircase but every single time the results were appalling to the point where one sight supervisor actually admitted that it wasn't good enough and that i shouldn't pay for that as it really was a very poor result. they simply gave up in the end.
back to why i say they fight not to start their work and why they are always delayed - it's because they have to re-do their work at multiple different locations. The reason i know this is a friend of mine had ordered the same floor as me and with installation starting within days of my job. He had equal problems to me and found out be chance that we even had the same team. So when they didnt show up at the timings agreed and i chased them i was told they were on their way - a quick message to my friend and i found out they were at his house working so they were outright lying to me and same happened to my friend when they were at my house.
I have launched multiple complaints to them without any result. They come back saying the will try again to rectify the stairs and in the meantime more and more floor boards are coming apart - even where they have glued them.
I have asked for a modest refund but they plainly ignore that as not being an option at all.
I have been at this for more than 12months now (closer to 18months) and they wage a war of attrition on you with endless "customer care" people taking over on the case every week where you then start over. It will wear you down in the end so all i can do is to warn anyone considering to use Floorworld to stay as far away as humanly possible.

"The poorest flooring company of UAE, avoid"
What a project management, a disaster. They promise a floor in 5 - 7 days. Then they find issues with cleanliness and aircon. Then they find excuses and promise to finish today, tomorrow and after tomorrow. If your moving gets delayed, you call supervisors, the operation manager and more, and they all will ignore your problem.
Only if you have time to supervise, and use them their project management can be managed. otherwise, they will postpone your schedules with lies. What a shame, what an unprofessional company. Do not expect compensation for delay. Delay is the program and fooling the customer. I promise you the claim of good flooring is not true.

Floorworld Fyshwick provided Chinese flooring and called it European generic. They also put a dent in the front of my new fridge. They left holes in the floor and failed to finish the edges. Charged $10s of thousands of dollars. This experience has cost me money and an unfinished apartment. Absolutely disgusted!!!
