"Great Company with a fantastic team behind it"

Working with Mamba has been a treat. They were friendly and took us step by step throughout the whole process. We were assigned Alex as our account manager and he was excellent. Was always available for any questions (even on the weekend!!!) and kept up updated on the advertising team's progress. Although we were not expecting it, they managed to start to get us sales within the first 2 weeks of running our ads and they are constantly amending and changing the ads as we move along and we can see the benefits.

Great company and great team behind it.

"Not great for a newbie"

I’ve sat on this for a little while, wondering the best way to write a review. Whilst I want to be honest, I also don’t want to slander. I have been stung a couple times by marketing companies - so was super nervous about trying again. In a nutshell, I wish I hadn’t. My personal opinion is that these guys are keen to make money, but lack the ability to relay simple information I feel is important - especially to startups without cash to burn, or those unfamiliar with the ad process.

I wasn’t expecting miracles - but I submitted some financial goals, which included ad spend and growth, and I was being real conservative in them. Whilst no-one can predict whether your product will sell, I was assured that my goals were very realistic, and that if I was to hit my targets, I would even be their lowest performer. These guys post images of ‘client results’ daily - some even say ‘first day’ or ‘first week’ - so as you can imagine, its what you then expect if that is what you are bing sold.

The ads only ran for a couple weeks in their defence - One sale would have been fine if I was aware that the system took time - but they eventually said they didn’t know why I wasn’t getting sales, and that time, trial and error was needed to build - which again would have been completely fine if I was prepared for it - but none of this was communicated to me in the first place. Only when I said lets stop and pulled their permissions did they say that it needed a lot of time etc.
When I came back and said, ok, no hard feelings, let’s keep going, they said no, contract cancelled, and charged me for the remaining months of retainer fees. They said the only way I could continue was to sign a 12 month contract - effectively squeezing me out. This was the part that really turned me off - everything else I could have worked with.

So for me, it was £1500 wasted on fees, and hundreds more on ads. That being said, it is my experience alone - that I am aware of. Maybe they do well for some for their clients, but if their communication was better, then I think we would be in a different pace. I cannot speak to ad results as we didn’t get anywhere, but I wouldn’t recommend them based on communication.
