"Bought a table online"

Bought a table online. Paid by paypay, recieved email confirmation only to be called 4 days later to be told they couldn't find the table. When I asked if they could order another for me I was told "yes but it won't be at the same cost".

We had the “Marvellous afternoon tea“ took advantage of a discounted offer in January which made it £11.50 per person. For the price what we had was ok and nice. Started with Soup, beetroot &cheese tart (Both Yummy) and Battered fish Which was cooked to absolute perfection, light fluffy. Probably best I’ve tasted. Let down here were frozen French fries chips.big No No. Asked for all brown sandwiches, tick. But half mini seeded cobs rolls with various toppings were a little hard and chewy, bread had just gone past its best maybe. Wish the cakes felt more like they were home made, although ok definitely had a manufactured feel and that was a disappointment. Despite some of the things above I would go back, but not running. Ok for price paid.(big pot of coffee covered half of it straight away) and staff couldn’t of been more friendly and helpful, didn’t Say anything to them as wasn't worth mentioning. The setting and decor was lovely. Of the 5 afternoon teas I’ve been to overall ranking for here would be 3

Had a superb afternoon tea with our family yesterday to celebrate our mums 80th Birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Anything we needed wast their. Loved the surroundings and the quirky crockery. Loved it and my mum even purchased some beautiful dining room chairs!! The whole feel of the place is very homely and would definitely recommend 👍😄
