Received a call after online booking for 2 separate orders and delivery time and day was given. Delivery was on time and drivers were friendly. Will definitely use Gardner and Scardifield again.

Went to the counter, I showed the sales assistant the email with the purchase number, he kept asking what I was picking up?? Surely the purchase number should be linked with some sort of system??
There was guy driving a forklift like a maniac just in front the store entrance

Staff are friendly, but I have ordered twice and both times they have sounded VERY unsure/uncertain of whether they could fulfill the orders or make the deliveries on time. First order was delivered on time, but with the staff advising that it 'probably wouldn't be'. Second order I gave 8 days notice for delivery and received a phone call on delivery day saying that my order may not be delivered on the day. As it was, they managed it, albeit four hours late. I hate leaving this review, as I visit G&S in person frequently and love thier old-fashioned service and knowledge in-store. however, the online side needs some SERIOUS upskilling.

The website is really easy to use. We needed multiple deliveries and each time we ordered, delivery was fast ans efficient. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again.
