"The session was unorganised"
The session was unorganised. The teacher was not friendly or helpful she really needs to go on a teaching course. As an adult I could not understand her! We gave up as the teacher could not teach and was clueless, glad we didn't pay!

"It was extremely boring and I did not…"
It was extremely boring and I did not engage with the lesson at all. I highly recommend doing different levels and difficulty of coding with Scratch or Minecraft.

"Complete waste of time"
I have learnt absolutely nothing new. The instructor is not fluent in python syntax and was terrible at explaining things.
The folder in repetition materials is empty, and the video that is linked is the wrong one (it's a Minecraft lesson instead of the python lesson I attended)
The description of the lesson states, and I quote: "During the lesson you will create your own computer game :)"
This is a complete lie as we only went over a very basic password checker and in reality, we barely did any coding ourselves, instead just watching the instructor struggle with python syntax for the whole time.
This was a complete waste of time, the only good side is that it was free, and I shudder to think of paying for the full course if the whole course is like this.

"Disappointing"
The trainer didn't engage with the children to check they were keeping up. There wasn't a clear instruction that the students were supposed to be copying in what the tutor was typing so by the time my daughter realised she was supposed to be entering the same text she was too far behind to catch up.

"A good introduction to an exciting subject."
It was a good trial experience. My son was engaged throughout and enjoyed the pace of the lesson. The communication of the preparation required could have been better and in better time. Unfortunately the code loop the students worked on didn't actually work for any of the participants in the end but we understand how difficult it can be to get a class of 7-9 year olds using technology remotely. Overall it was a good introduction to an exciting subject.
