"I got the wrong color and the wrong…"
I got the wrong color and the wrong frame. I can't ride this bike. I have issued 6 complaints for a week and have had no response. I have read their return policy and it's ridiculous. I have to repack the bike and pay return shipping? Because of their stupid mistake. Absolutely not.
My shipping problem was not during the covid nonsense. These problems still exist.so no the clown answering my complaints is simply sending me emails say this ticket is closed? Anyone who buys from this company will get ZERO customer service. The flunkie from customer service is Brittany A. She is useless. And way over paid.

"Customer service is Non-Existent"
Customer service is Non-Existent. I ordered an (expensive) bike rack for my PACE 500.3 (the only one that will fit.) It arrived with no hardware to put it together or secure it to the bike. I have sent two emails to customer service over two weeks ago, with no response. I am only asking for the screws to make my purchase useful. I can't get them on the phone. They put you on hold and forget you exist. I'd give them 0 stars if possible. After 15 minutes or so, they simply hang up on you. UPDATE: They finally got back to me after repeated attempts and did send a new rack. My problem has been resolved, but it was very inconvenient. I had to repackage the first order and now on my way to take it to mail.

"Purchased an adventure 2 online"
Purchased an adventure 2 online. Arrived in a week, no issue.
When ordering online I ordered a rear rack; the Bike came with a rear rack attached. I emailed Avent on to get a return authorization never received a response. 3 months??
I did not assemble the bike until last week, (04/06/2024) 3 months after delivery ( due to winter) the rear tire was flat and would not hold air. I emailed Aventon on 04/07/2024 no response.
I took it to a bike shop today, $ 49.00 for a new rear tube, valve stem was bad.
2 for 2 on emailed customer service… thanks

"All these bad reviews were during Covid…"
All these bad reviews were during Covid 2021! And everyone was having an issue with shipping and keeping the places staffed with employees. It’s now 2024 and We absolutely love our Aventon e-bikes. My adventure 2 is such a fun well designed e-bike. The frame is so perfectly made. The weld on these bikes are stunning, absolutely no weld marks. The ride is incredible smooth, especially with the Aventon glide seat post I added. I also purchased a Aventon Level 2 for my wife. She said it is the best bike she has ever owned. And the polar color is classy, her words not mine!
Ok now let me tell you the best part of all. Is their customer service is second to none!! They stand proudly behind their e-bikes! I want to give a shot out to Hoyee for your incredible customer service!! It is greatly appreciated. So if you’re thinking about it or on the fence about purchasing a e-bike, look no further! You’ll find the perfect e-bike with Aventon. Now let’s go ride….

"Customer service stinks "
Bought a bike. It is ok for what you pay for. Battery last like 20-30 miles depending on assist level. Bought an extra
Battery but I ordered wrong one. They would not take it back as it violates their terms of service. Never been used was willing to send it back but they sent a letter saying too bad you bought the wrong one. They stink.
Hello John,
Thank you for contacting Aventon Support today.
After a review, we did not find an error on our end it looks like the ordered the wrong battery was simply ordered. As stated in our Terms of Service, all promotions are final and the promotional battery is sales are final and are not eligible for returns or exchange. battery sales are final.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused but we hope this information has been helpful.
Please feel free to contact us back if you have any additional questions or further concerns, and we'll be happy to help you out.
Best regards,
Jonella L.

"I ordered a bike as a gift and it…"
I ordered a bike as a gift and it arrived with some scratches in the paint. I contacted customer service who recommended I take the bike to a local dealer who had a new replacement on hand. I took it to the dealer, but they wanted to charge me $100 to swap out the bikes because they needed to cover their "build costs." I said no - and returned the bike at the shop and ordered a new one.
I didn't realize until I got home that the shop had not refunded me the $100 shipping charge so I again contacted customer service, and the promptly refunded my $100 shipping charge. The replacement bike I ordered came in good condition and I appreciated the great customer service from Aventon - not so much from the local bike dealer that carried Aventon bikes.

"Do NOT trust the company customer…"
Do NOT trust the company customer service!
I would like to clarify that I own an Aventon bike and have not had any problems with the bike itself. I bought it from a third party vendor and have continued to have that vendor service it without any issue.
However, I live in a cold US state and when winter was approaching, I realized I had lost my key to unlock the battery to move it inside to a warmer storage location. I called Aventon technical support to find out if it was faster to order a replacement key from them or take it to the vendor shop. The CS person I worked with recommended that Aventon could get me a replacement key quickly, he filled out an online order template and emailed it to me to complete. I did complete the order that same day. Then, a couple weeks went by with me receiving "your order is delayed" emails. So I called back to Aventon customer service with my order number. I explained that it was getting too cold in my region soon to transport my bike to the vendor shop (I don't have a vehicle that can transport that bike weight). That representative apologized that the first person should have told me replacement key orders can take a while but she would try to expedite my process. She would let me know what she found out soon. I did not hear back. Another few weeks went by and I just received an email from a THIRD customer service person saying the company doesn't make replacement keys anymore and their only alternative solution would require me to bring my bike into a bike shop to have it installed. That could have been an option when I placed the order but it is a month later and getting my bike to a third-party vendor shop is no longer an option.
I've been jerked around for a month, spoken to three separate service representatives and now end up with no solution except added expenses of warm storage of the bike, or transportation to a shop. Both of these expenses would have be avoidable a month ago when I started these conversations if I had gotten the correct information from ANY of the first representatives I talked to in a timely fashion.
Not going to use Aventon products in the future and we are cancelled my husband's bike order from our vendor for the spring (he was going to be a new customer) based on this experience and how bad the customer service experience was! Would NOT recommend using their company even though the bike itself has had no problems.

"I ordered an aventure 2 model from a…"
I ordered an aventure 2 model from a Canadian retailer let me tell you absolutely horrible customer service after going back and forth for several months with customer support they finally sent me the new suspension it turns out the preload adjustment on the original forks had snapped therefore aventon had shipped a new suspension to me, which I had to pay for the shipping The new forks came without a built in star screw goodluck to you if you ever have to service your bike no ordinary bike shop will be able to service aventon bike as all the parts are specifically built for aventon bikes by their manufacturer in China The new forks doesn't come with a built in star screw used to secure the suspension on to the bike its been months and I'm still waiting to resolve this issue Customer support told me that the star screw is interchangeable which is a lie once you take the star screw out you can't just reuse it on a different set of forks They told me only the original shocks come with the built in star screw after months of waiting and all the money spent I'am a completely unsatisfied customer they send me a part which is incompatible with their aventure 2 model was this worth iit definitely not buyers beware

"Terrible company who sells bad…"
Terrible company who sells bad batteries and has horrible customer service. They will do everything and give you the runaround to avoid fixing issues . In this case trying to get them to replace two bad batteries under warranty is a nightmare . Selling 500.00 bad batteries to customers is how this company does business . A quick google search will tell how awful they are as a company. Don’t be fooled by the paid wonderful reviews . Google Aventon complaints and you will see real reviews . F with BBB is pathetic since as a company you can buy a higher rating. Wish I followed my advice and googled complaints before purchasing.

"Aventon doesn't have batteries or parts"
I needed a new battery and related parts to replace their original parts that had failed. My shop said that Aventon didn't have them in inventory and they didn't know when they would.
