"Consummate professionals. Very pleased with my experience."

Short read: Professional, personable, efficient staff. Great rate of pay. Clear and consistent communication from agency. A variety of work opportunities offered.

Long read: I began working with this agency in November 2022 but I've waited to give this review to check that they were as good as they seemed. It's now April 2023 and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Their pay is excellent, basically what I'd get as a full-time ECT minus holiday pay. Their timesheet system is efficient and easy to complete each week. I'm always paid promptly. Both members of staff I've worked with, Holly and Michaela, are polite and professional but also very human in their approach. They are straight talkers who communicate expectations and opportunities clearly and always call you back when they say they will. I was placed in a school that really suits my teaching style and Michaela has been wonderful in collaborating with the school to ensure my long-term stay is facilitated. I think it speaks volumes that the Head of this school also thinks very highly of Michaela and of this agency and that I am one of five members of staff who have been placed in this school to great satisfaction from all parties. They also support staff by offering CPD courses and interview preparation. In addition to this professional aspect, I had a bad accident in December that prevented me from working and the agency was nothing but supportive. Michaela and Holly both checked in with me to see how the healing process was coming along, but it never felt as if they were just making sure I could get back to work for their agency. This humane aspect is something missing from many agencies and is commendable.

Put another way, I worked for another agency for two months before this. In that time, I was only offered one job opportunity, could never get through to my agent on the phone but would get ten missed calls in the space of five minutes in regards to my availability (which I'd already provided via their online system) with increasingly irate voicemails left for me. I became frustrated with the lack of work offered and so registered with i-teachers. A week later, I had completed registration and a week or so after that I had my first interview. I'm so very happy I moved - I had thought working for an agency just meant making the best of a bad lot, but i-teachers revealed the difference between a bad agency and a consummately professional one. Very pleased with the support and opportunities available here.

I was approached by Demi Bridges who clearly explained the role well. She along with her compliance team were very considerate and helpful in explaining the relavant documentation needed. They were also swift when it came to carrying out certain checks and procedures. I am very thankful to her for giving me some interview tips ensuring that I know what to expect whilst also not over preparing me. She is also constantly keeping in touch with me whilst I am in my new job.
