Having recently discovered that my Uncle John died while evacuated and had been buried in an unmarked grave in what is no longer a churchyard I decided that a small memorial was needed. He had died alongside others and there were actually 2 unmarked graves - I thought I should also do something for the other boy who now has no living relatives. I did not want markers that lay flat as grass grows and they might soon be covered.

At this point I found this company but, for many reasons, time was now very short (yes, after nearly 78 years I had to get a move on!).

I telephoned James who said he could supply the 2 staked memorials needed in time and, true to his word, they arrived just 4 days after I ordered them and are PERFECT - I am so very impressed and am now planning the actual 'ceremony' which is a long way from where I live and involves the local school children who tend after the area where the boys are.
