"Art Safari Guide"

James was my guide during an Art Safari in Kenya. His knowledge of the wildlife was matched by his amazing storytelling. He also catered our experience so that we had the proper time to soak in the energy and environment of the land, and take the time to paint it. He knew the best vantage points that would be safe to paint from, and knew when and where to start painting the elephant herds so they would be close to us by the time we were ready to paint details. At one point he even joined in on the fun and painted alongside us. It was one of the most memorable trips I have ever had. I talk about it, and James, to this day. I can't wait to go back and have James show me even more of Kenya's wonderfulness!
