"2022 Ford Bailey Adamo Victron Upgrade "

I have a 1 year old Ford Bailey 2022 Adamo 754i motorhome.
After approaching Hythe Auto Electrics I agreed that I would fit 3 X Victron 175w solar panels myself and put the wires inside ready for them. I also agreed to source and supply Victron Parts for them to fit.
lynx 1000,100/50 MPPT, Battery Master,SX50 B2B, ip22 mains charger and also a Solar isolator switch along with a Master T Type fuse and shunt. They sent a full quotation and some weeks later the day came to take the van into them. After a talk about how i would like it all fitted Olie got on with the job.
He then called each evening with a detailed update by telephone and I requested some further work. He completed one day later then promised because of my added work. His workmanship was 100% along with his knowledge of the Victron equipment and how to set it all up to work as a system. Great cabling all very neat with labels to cover everything required, I felt Olie and his team did a great job and I have booked the van in for further upgrades in 2 months, He works from a farm so all work was completed in a big dry and clean workshop. Well done and thank you it has been a stress free experience working with you and your team.
I would recommend anyone that needs their Camper and motorhome or even Caravan upgraded or repaired electrically Hythe Auto Electrics are the best choice in Kent in my view. (Small note they also fit all types of solar panels I just fancied having a go but in reality I wish I had asked him to do it all)

I cannot praise Olie enough. I rang Hythe Auto Electrics when my motorhome would not start and the battery would not charge. As I couldn’t get it to Olie’s workshop, he came out to see what the problem was. Turns out something was draining both batteries and had killed them. Olie purchased new batteries and came out later in the week on Saturday to fit the main battery and escort us to his workshop. One week later all the obsolete wiring was gone. The culprit draining the battery was banished and all our wiring sorted, tidied and working properly. A new kill switch was fitted to the battery and a new charging unit fitted to keep the batteries topped up, we were then good to go. After a chat with my other half about our internal lighting, Olie will now be changing our lighting to LEDs - kinder to our leisure battery and they don’t get hot. If you are looking for a reliable, honest and knowledgeable person to work on your motorhome - Olie’s the person to go to. I must also mention his prices are very reasonable. Olie is a great bloke and Hythe Auto Electrics our go to place from now on.

"Fantastic Customer Service"

I contacted Hythe Auto Electrics to see if I could have a solar panel fitted to my camper. Of course, Olie replied quickly and told me I could! The quote breakdown was detailed and professional. I booked in and after a short wait, had the work done last week. I even explained some concerns about the electrics on my leisure battery that the previous owner may have completed, which Olie was able to check over while the camper was with him.
Quality products have been installed on my camper and Olie walked me through the Bluetooth app at the end too - I now have a fab working solar panel for the summer months!
Customer service here was amazing and would completely recommend this company and I would use again for any electrical requirements on my campervan.

Fantastic guy Olie and his team for sorting my campervan out that had been done by a cowboy. My gut told me it wasn’t safe and Olie sorted it all out after confirming it wasn’t safe to use. He installed a new battery and re wired the whole van! He explained everything and gave great advice. One happy camper customer now my vans safe and good to go away in with the kids.
Olie is very trustworthy and will tell you honestly what’s wrong and ways to rectify it. I will be using him for all things electrical in the camper from now on :-)
