I bought a 25kg bag of Biochar super compost to improve the soil in a new raised bed and used it in the planting holes to give the plants a good start. It is too soon to see the impact on growth, but I was very happy with the quality of the compost - it has a good, fine texture and dark colour. It has a good coverage if used as recommended, sufficient for about 30 plants and 30 bulbs in a 4mx4m bed. Fast delivery and reasonable price from Soilfixer, too.
