"A valuable course!"
Easy to follow along at my own pace with the mixed media presentations holding my interest along the way! You could tell that a lot of time was put into creating this course, it was very well organized. Loved the discussants; they were clear and concise on their topics, which is not easy sometimes! The depth of coverage was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

"In-Person Diploma in Single Malt Whisky"
I attended the face to face Diploma in Single Malt Whisky and can honestly say it was the most enjoyable certification I've ever obtained! Vic Cameron was excellent - his past industry experience shone through and he was able to bring the process to life. Everything was well organised before and during the course. It has inspired me to delve deeper into the wonderful world of whisky and I hope someday to put my knowledge into practice.

"Turning a growing interest into a proper education."
I decided to take the EWA online Certificate in Scotch Whisky in late 2022. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot more than I expected to. I was able to absorb the information at my own speed and anytime something confused me, I could easily post my question and get a reply to clear things up.
Before I even finished the course I knew I wanted to take the Diploma in Single Malt as well.
I'm sure the online diploma would have been sufficient, but timing worked out where I was able to travel to the in-person course, and I'm sure glad I did!
I enjoyed studying the online modules in the months before the course, and then had a wonderful time at Arniston House in Edinburgh.
Everyone was great, and our instructor did all he could to prepare us well. It was a fun experience and I'm proud of my result.
Since the course I've found myself in conversations with other whisky enthusiasts, experts, or people within the industry, and I'm quite proud of where my knowledge level is. Of course always eager to keep learning! I've now started on the Certificate in Irish Whiskey, and seriously thinking about career moves.

"Bartendering concepts. Spirits Manufacturing procedures"
Think that the history of the beverages is important to understand the way the evolve along the time. Also the way industrial and handcrafted spirits are produced. Think that next step could be more technical lectures.

"I really enjoyed this course"
I really enjoyed this course. It was detailed, informative and interesting. I particularly liked learning about the historical context of Irish whiskey (and whisky in general). I liked the interactive nature of some of the quizzes. The format and course delivery was well-paced and varied.
It's good to have the downloadable pdf of the course once completed and a lovely certificate too!
Studying this course has given me a new-found appreciation of Irish whiskey, and has inspired me to try different types of Irish whiskey, whereas before I tended to stick to Scotch single malts. Irish whiskey is definitely a growing market with many exciting opportunities ahead for those involved in the business.
