I was in need of new glasses 👓 After a bad experience in city center I googled and found Gill Opticians in Dalkey. I made an appointment to have my eyes checked. From the time I arrived @ Gill Opticians I was blown away by their amazing customer service. After my eye exam I was introduced to Eimear to help me choose a new pair of frames. Gill Opticians have a huge selection of beautiful frames from different designers. Eimear was extremely nice & very helpful. As I was trying different frames 👓 I was approached by Jamie. He asked me to try a 👓 by Vava which I absolutely loved. My new glasses were ready for pick up within a week. I would highly recommend Gill Opticians to anyone as they are the best.

Went for annual check - they referred me for cataract removal. Less than 3 months start to finish, with checks booked for ensure the healing process was healing well.

I cannot recommend them enough, granddaughter also had her eye test, staff were attentive, caring and went beyond ensuring she was headed in the right direction with colour style etc.

Would recommend 100% as an independent company they beat the larger opticians hands down with their customer care and service.

Thought it was time I write this review. I have been using Gill options for a good few years now but never got round to saying just how fantastic they are! From when you first walk into the shop and get such a warm welcome from all the staff and especially Bev. Bev has help me select glasses on many occasions now and she will give you a great advice as well as honest advice. The selection of glasses are fantastic and customer service is above and beyond. Now when it comes to get your eyes tested the warmth and professionalism is again fantastic. Akeam ( not sure on spelling) who did my children's eyes recently was absolutely fantastic with them. He put them at ease and explained everything to them that he was doing so because of just how professional and probably one of the best optician I have used i thought it only fair I spread the word. Thank Bev and everybody at Gill for looking after my family's eyes.
