"The team at Luxury Ireland Tours/MVLT…"
The team at Luxury Ireland Tours/MVLT was fantastic from the moment we were in contact with them. They diligently (and patiently :)) walked us through our Ireland vacation tour choices, itinerary, budget, and final travel schedule.
Their choice of drivers (Pat & Tony) was fantastic as we had two amazing driver/tour guides for our 13 day vacation. Getting the right driver(s) is key to a great vacation!
During our trip, every detail was meticulously taken care of including hotels, events, restaurant reservations, and the day-to-day travel schedule. We also felt like we could deviate from the daily itinerary if we wanted to, which gave us a bit of flexibility each day if we needed it. We arrived at the many tourist events during our vacation and our tickets were always already taken care of in advance which is a great way to enjoy the tours.
We would highly recommend Luxury Ireland Tours/MVLT to anyone who wants a once in a lifetime experience in Ireland. This vacation exceeded our expectations and we are truly grateful for all of the planning and hard work that LIT/MVLT put into it.
Thank you!

"Fabulous 9 Day Tour of Ireland (4.5 Rating)"
First contact with Annie was cordial, professional and quick to respond. She put together a rough initial itinerary that reflected our trip interests for touring central and Southern Ireland. With some back and forth on details we were then handed off to Annie who finalized our itinerary.
Upon arrival we flew through Customs and were picked up flawlessly. On our 2nd day we did a 3 hour private tour of Dublin with Kevin. Kevin was a pure delight, very knowledgeable on the city history and delight to be with. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.
On the third day we met our driver that would be handling the remaining part of our tour, Tony. Tony (our Lord and Savior according to my kids), was AMAZING!!!! He was professional, punctual, knowledgeable about the areas and went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable. The vehicle was always clean for each pickup, water was available at all times and he would stop for us whenever needed. If there was something he thought we would enjoy that would improve our experience, he would go out of his way to make it happen (for example Old Head Lighthouse in Kinsale and sheep dog herding experience outside of Killarney). He is truly a delightful person who treated everyone in my family with respect and made our trip a genuine success. I honestly couldn’t have imagined the trip without him. He truly has his pulse on Ireland and beyond exceptional at what he does. 5 stars plus rating for him across the board. So glad he was booked for our tour.
Dinner restaurants selected by Tour Company were phenomenal!
Hotel selections we chose to stay in were 4 to 5 stars and selections were awesome (minus one mentioned below).
Excursions and tours hit the hot spots ( e.g. Ashford Castle, Blarney Castle, Waterford Castle and on).
My only reasons for a 4.5 rating vs 5 for Luxury Ireland Tours is attention to the finer details which is what I believe warrants a 5 star rating and places a business above the competition.
1. The tour itinerary was a bit too heavy on the driving and 1nt stays for the family. We did 2nts, 1nt, 1nt, 2nts, 1nt and 1nt with drive times ranging 3 to 4 hours ( maybe more) in the car per day ( broken up of course with experiences). I know we wanted to see a lot with the short amount of time we had on the island; however, I think our itinerary could have been improved in that area so the family wasn’t completely wiped out by the fourth night.
2. One of the hotels we stayed at in Killarney was a 3 star. Probably 4 or 5 in the day, but definitely not that anymore.
3. Golf recommendation could have been better. I was pushing for Dook’s; however, we showed up at Mount Juliet as part of our itinerary and got completely bummed out our golf day was not built around that location. It was gorgeous ….. not to mention rated as top 100 golf courses in the world. Price difference to play there vs Dook’s was minimal and I would have paid extra expense to golf there had I known.
4. Upon landing in Dublin, we arrived at our hotel 9 am on a Sunday. Our rooms weren’t going to be ready until 3pm. We would have appreciated the recommendation to book one of our rooms for the night before so we could check in upon our arrival, freshen up, then head off to the city (which we learned that almost everything in Dublin is closed until noon on Sunday’s). In addition, would have loved a recommendation or two for how to spend our first day in Dublin once the city opened up for the day.
Other than those minor suggestions, the family had an amazing trip and would definitely book again with Ireland Luxury Tours.

"Our experience with Luxury Ireland…"
Our experience with Luxury Ireland Tours, Alasdair and then Amy, was outstanding. They worked with us to form an incredible five night itinerary. They listen to our vision and made that vision a reality. We were blown away with our driver, Peter, that was witty, funny, very knowledgeable of the entire island. He went over and beyond to make sure that we were enjoying every minute and not sure if we would’ve have been the same experience without him. Everything exceeded our expectations! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

"A True 5 Star Experience!"
We cannot say enough about Luxury Ireland Tours and our agent Rebecca. From start to finish, a phenomenal group of people, places and sights as we toured Scotland and Ireland for 15 days. Our driver in Scotland, Gary, was witty, funny and full of knowledge (and surprises!) throughout our week+ with him. The lodging choices were superb, with The Balmoral (Edinburgh), Culloden Estate (Belfast) and The Merrion (Dublin) ranking among the top. Our party of 4 enjoyed seeing all the sights from historical basis to distilleries/bars/pubs to Outlander and Harry Potter themed stops and everything in between. We would very, very highly recommend this company for their knowledge of properties, fantastic staff and overall guidance to their customers.

Absolutely outstanding trip. My family has been many places in the world and this trip was the best of all. Our itinerary was great and our driver Dan made the trip even better. Great team to work with. Communication was outstanding.

"First class treatment from beginning to end"
We had an incredible trip to Ireland for my 50th birthday.
It was a luxury experience from day one. The initial planning with Michelle was seamless. She selected a great, detailed itinerary for us and with a few tweaks we were on our way. Alan then took over for the final logistics. He did an outstanding job and communicated throughout the trip behind the scenes with our hotels and driver to make the experience go well, even getting us free upgrades in multiple hotels without us even knowing. My wife and I spent almost no time planning - everything was laid out for us from the moment we arrived until our last day.
And what a trip! We drove with a private driver and stayed in castles (Ashford Castle is a must stay), abbeys, and 5-star hotels for the whole trip. The dinners were amazing. Don't skip the Pullman restaurant if you are in Gallway - how often do you get to eat in an Orient Express car!
There were so many amazing experiences to talk about. The stand-out experiences included spending a morning with Irish Wolf Hounds at Ashford Castle, meeting sheep dogs as they herded sheep in the mountains, the Celtic Steps dance show, trad music at local pubs, a horse and carriage ride through the Muckross park (where the cows are used to make KerryGold butter), the Slea Head drive (stop at Dobey's crab shack at the entrance of Dunberg fort, he's a great guy and serves amazing cracked crab claws in roasted butter), and to top it all off the Burren Farm Experience safari, where the O'Rourke family drove us in their amazing vintage Land Rover and walked us through their amazing farm alongside the cows, through their own personal fairy forest, finishing up with Bronagh O'Rouke's homemade scones, tea, and organic beef served on a wooden table in an old stone church on the farm. What lovely people they were!
There was so much more (of course we kissed the Blarney Stone!). Words cannot describe how great this trip was from beginning to end. We did so much, but it never seemed rushed. It was all perfectly planned and executed.
I can't complete this review without a word about our driver, Brendan. He went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Full of Irish stories and knowledgeable about Irish history and culture. He was always on time; fully prepared; knew the itinerary cold and was not afraid to take us off the beaten path. He is a great human being. Janey mac we had fun with Brendan!
Two of our most amazing experiences were "off book." Brendan and the team at LIT arranged for us to meet with a Genealogist in the morning at the North Tipperary Genealogy Center to learn about my great, great, great grandparents. Geraldine pulled out a map and highlighted places where they were married and buried (in the first Friary in Ireland), the street my great, great grandmother was born on, and the approximate location of their home in the countryside. We went to all of them! Then, as we were looking in the countryside at their approximate home, we came across a lovely Irish couple who invited us into their house to look at old land records. As we sipped tea in their solarium overlooking the Irish fields, the husband pulled out a photocopy of land records from the 1800s, found their land record, and pointed us in the right direction! It was amazing!!! A few days later we went to the pier where my great grandmother left for America (the White Star building that was also the last port of the Titanic before its fateful departure to the US).
Brendan is also a big fan of Gaelic Football and took us to the Fitzgerald Stadium in Killarney. He struck up a conversation with the caretaker, who gave us a private tour of the stadium - inside and out, in the locker rooms and on the field - and he and Brendan regaled us with stories of legendary footballers as we looked at their pictures in the hallways. I had no idea how important Gaelic Football is over there! The caretaker then went into the back room and brought out a football, handed it to me, and told me to take it as a souvenir. Brendan and I took the ball, went out to the side field and he taught me how to play! I brought it home for my son (along with a Kerry green and gold jersey) and it is now one of his treasured possessions!
I never, ever write reviews. This time, I had to. The entire team at Luxury Ireland Tours and Brendan went out of their way to create the most amazing, memorable 50th birthday trip a guy could imagine. My wife and I have been all over the world. This was the best trip we have ever taken. Ever.
Use these guys, and ask for Brendan.
Thank you all for the amazing experiences.

"2 weeks of pure joy"
We spent two full weeks in Ireland with another couple and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. All of the lodging, restaurants and sites that were selected for us were top tier.
Our driver Peter was just outstanding and took great care of us while making sure we had a smiles on our faces the entire trip. We will definitely be back!!

"Ask for Michael as your driver!"
My family and I recently took a 10-day trip throughout Ireland, and Michael Lawler was our driver. We couldn’t have gotten any luckier. Michael was a true professional in every sense: knowledgeable, flexible, funny, full of great suggestions, and an excellent driver. He is also just a great guy and we now are happy to say a friend.

"Ireland the way it should be seen - "
Luxury Island Tours was fabulous! From the first email to saying goodbye to our driver everything went smoothly! They provide an itinerary from information you give to them about what you want to see and do. Then you can make changes until it’s exactly what you want. Their selection of hotels were beautiful, restaurants delicious and the icing on this cake was the personal driver! This was our first trip like this but won’t be the last as we are already talking about going back!

"Wonderful Ireland Tour"
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent two week private tour of Ireland. Alan at MV Luxury travel put together an amazing itinerary which showcased the outstanding scenery of Ireland with its rolling green hills and rugged coast line.
Being on a private tour our driver Peter was most obliging in regards to timing and we were able to adjust the itinerary to suit our pace. Peter noticed that my husband was an avid photographer so he was stopping constantly to allowing him some great photo opportunities that were around every corner.
We experienced great accommodation including castles and manors, most had wonderful restaurants where we indulged in some amazing local fresh seafood and other delights.
Would certainly recommend this tour and MV Luxury travel.
