Sold an oil painting as by William Ralph Turner (1920-2013) but it has been confirmed by a specialist to be a fake. The auction house is making excuses and has not offered to take it back / not offered to give a refund.

I use many auction houses and this is one of the best . They answer the phone and help with issues. I had an issue and it was resolved . If items are small they will pick / pack and send for a fee which saves me the time in transport. I like the way they sell large lots rather than splitting up lots into small lots . Also they did not pay me to write this review ahahah :-) Honest and real 5*

Excellent auction house with helpful staff and great packing service too. I bought online and as I don't live locally, asked if they could pack and send my items, which they agreed to do for a reasonable fee. Payment was easy and the lady I spoke to was really helpful. Highly recommended, I'm already bidding again.

Horrible experience with this auction I have bought something on Friday and by Monday I have been blocked and when called the receptionist or I’m not sure auctioneer their been very rude . Their blocked me on saleroom even after I paid and collect what made my reputation with others auctions vulnerable. My advice avoid buy from this auction house if you want to keep your saleroom or your reputation as dealer. Not professionalism and very rude customer service . If could give zero star I would done, horrible customer service .

"BEWARE THE LOADING FEES"

1st time I have been to this auction but I have spent all my working life buying from Auctions.
Went to collect some commercial kitchen equipment for a friend who had bought it. No help given which we expected so took some bodies to lift. but when the heavy items need to be fork truck loaded onto the pickup we were charged £5.00 per item. As someone who has always looked after my customers and gone the extra mile i find this very petty and out of order especially as we were only notified of the cost after loading.

This was our first order from these guys. Some issues arose at our end, that were absolutely no fault of theirs, and they truly went the extra mile to help us to resolve things.
Recommended without hesitation, and will be bidding with them again very soon.

Do Not Buy From The Goole Depot!!!!! Absolute disgusting that items can be sold with no description of been used faulty and basically not working when it’s clearly evident on close inspection upon collection that items sold from this depot are clearly been incorrectly advertised to hide the fact that everything is only worthy of the BIN!!!

Really good experience with this auctioneer.
All products I viewed were good quality and they don't try and hide or cover anything up.
They advise you to view first and when it came to the online auction I bought £4000 worth of bathroom products for £450 including the standard 37% charge. (Vat and buyers premium).
Payment desk were very friendly and conversational and collection was a breeze.
I'll be buying using this auctioneer again.
They source quality items and not stuff that only good for scrap like a few auctioneers I've used in the past.
