"Been up and Running for a year"

Saw an AD on TV in November 2018.
Paid a deposit, they arranged installer.
In SA it is the owners responsibility to get permission to connect system to grid. Filled out the online paperwork with SA Power Networks.
Emailed contractor with permission form. Install arranged for 4th Dec, due to weather conditions work not completed to 5th.
All tested OK but as meter was not a smart meter had to wait to get payment for going to grid until meter installed.

Had a few issues after completing final payment as they lost interest in me.

Managed to fix the issues (wireless connection) by myself.

Overall not a bad experience.

"Very poor service with zero response."

Very poor service with zero response.
Cancelled contract within cooling off period and despite many calls and emails (with no response) have not received refund almost 6 months later. Generally calls go to a voicemail. On the rare occasion someone answers, they always have an excuse eg. Refund request was sent to wrong department (seriously, how many finance departments do they have), or refund sent to wrong account, or we are refunding today (that was 3 weeks ago).
Save yourself time, stress and your money by going to a reputable provider.
Recommend if you’re getting the run around that you submit a claim with fair trading department in your respective state. This resolved this problem within a week.

"No Customer Service from Moor Green Energy"

We installed solar systems on two different sites. First site had fault, not generate any energy. We reported many times by phone calls, emails, requested them fix it, after more than 6 months, got there in the end but very frustrating.
Now our second site has a “Fault” displayed on the control panel, perhaps this system has never been working, because our power usage has no change compare than before the solar installed. I tried to contact MGE for the last two weeks to requested service. I took time off from work for the appointment which MGE scheduled, but no one had shown up, no cancellation notice either. I called service people, I was told that there is no such appointment at all. I contacted the person at MGE who made the appointment for me, and advised that there were no one shown up, and requested arrange a reliable technician to site for the service. I got a message from him last week, and promised me that “I will arrange one guy on Monday again”. I assume it was this Monday, but another week passed, so far nothing has happened.
At the Moor Green Energy, there was no one that really cared, no customer service. The business has unethical business standard, and leaving customers with “FAULD” solar installed on their roof.
I do not recommend this service

SKIP THIS COMPANY --- LOTS OK FAKE PROMISE

I spoken to solar agent after reviewing what I need for solar bundle. Until I paid deposit he was following me few times each day. But after payment and contract signed, no further calls for timely update, I need to follow up to know what’s going on. Agent in first instance promised that solar will be installed in 2 weeks’ time before deposit was made but they don’t give you in writing so that they can mesh you around. Later, agent said solar will be installed within August. I paid deposit on 7th August and send all necessary documentation. The solar company blaming Synergy and Western Power stating that they have not processed their part, but western Power already left note at premise saying that Meter is reprogrammed and ready for solar. Same message passed on to solar company, but they still denied, still work pending. When I advise I am also employee of Synergy and I knew it, nothing pending, just don’t blame Synergy or Western Power because you cannot keep your promise with time and they have no further comment on those companies.

First time they came to the property to install solar on 26th August with incorrect solar panels, different brand at all and nothing matching, due to various media messages I was alert and checked with installer what was the Brand and capacity of solar panel and found they are not the correct panels so rejected, and they only completed other works except solar panels. Second time, they came on 30th August with incorrect watt in solar panel, I quoted and paid for 315 mono, they brought 310 hence no installation. Once I made a call to company, the Manager at Perth branch advised,” normally customer accept 310 instead of 315. So, you can assume what are they doing if customer does not check like me.

Third and final time installer came to the property on 13th September with correct panel and installed them. They even have not finished the installation of all 21 panels, they already asked for outstanding amount. I advise, due to your poor performance, I physically need to check before the payment and I was not a home. They denied and insist for prompt payment. Several people from Sydney and Perth called for bal but I did not pay on that day. They threaten me to advise they will remove all installation if bal not paid in 2 hours, I told them go ahead. I spoke to Branch manager and the sale agent I dealt with, they are very impolite and does not know how to talk to customer. Installer was okay until I checked physically and process the remaining bal. So, payment was made on Sat the next day but on Sat again, several people from Sydney and Perth called me to follow on payment, I advise them I only pay with account person and who send me email with signature so that I know that person is from that company. So, I have received the worst customer service ever I can think of and trying to make customer fool.
Sorry this is a bit long to read but I have written to share what I faced so that you will not be impacted the same in the future.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS COMPANY AND MY FRIEND WHO ARE IN LINE TO INSTALL SOLAR, REVERTED THEM TO ANOTHER GOOD ONE.

"STAY AWAY"

STAY AWAY
If I can I'll give them zero star. They're very happy and useful before they pocket your money but their after sale service is next to zero. They aren't helpful and will keep dragging things. They say one thing and do another. I've a fault in the system and trying for the last five days to rectify that so far nothing has happened. I wish I'd read all the comments before using them.

"Dishonest and fraudulent company. Very stressful."

Very bad and dishonest. Tried to install a different panel than the one we had agreed on in the contract. Was not told about this. Have now read about many others with the same issue so it seems to be in their business model, thats how they can afford to quote such low prices.

Was also late by 5 weeks with no good explanation.

"Frustrating experience"

Bad service while waiting for the panels to get installed. Never kept me up to date with what was happening and it took over two months to installation from when I signed up. It would be good to have an idea of installation time all you ask for is a bit of clarity but all i was told was that someone would be in touch, someone will be in touch, when i asked when that would be, the answer was I don't know but someone will be in touch with no idea of a date. I would think they would be able to book a date in for me so I knew but they could not I had to wait for a call from the installer. I asked will they be installed by Christmas they said maybe but if not it would definitely be before the 10th of January. This did not happen, the panels did not get installed until the 25th of January. When I finally got a message from the installer he asked to install a few hours later that same day which is obviously not enough notice to get time off work they need to give you more notice than this. I then Took a day off work to get the installation done after confirming twice it was going ahead on another day and the installer didn't show up. No communication between the sales staff and the installers leaving me unsure of what was happening. I had to call them up saying nobody had showed up and was then told that they didn't even have my panels in stock that is why nobody was there but nobody had bothered to tell me this. I Ended up not even getting the panels I asked for and signed for on the contract as they kept saying they were in transit and after much complaining from me asking when they would come they finally admitted they could never get those panels in the first place so I had to settle for different panels just to get them installed as I had already waited over 2 months. Got there in the end but very frustrating experience throughout as I had to keep chasing them up. The after sales service has been good so far with help setting up the monitoring app with Monty and the panels and inverter appeared to have been installed correctly with no functional issues.

"Terrible after sales service"

Terrible after sales service. More Green Energy installed solar panels on my roof 6 months ago. Since the day they were installed, i have had a meter reading issue which the online monitoring system says needs to be fixed by the installer. I have been phoning and emailing more green energy regularly for 6 months to have this issue fixed and they still have failed to do so. I have never had such terrible after sales service. Their panels are cheap, but not worth the hassle. Better off using someone else.

have contacted company numerous times to rectify illegal install of my battery back up.to no avail they never get back to you battery is rated for inside use only but they installed outside in the weather which can cause an explosion. lg chem advised to switch off immeadiately ,after negotiating with more green energy they never get back to you.stay away as I will report to proper authorities
