"To few art classes"
I really like the art classes, but there are so few of them now, only twice a week. Loads of other well-being and exercise classes if that’s your bag, also a French class but not my cup of tea.

"A once fabulous platform, stripped to the bones"
I have been a member for two years. Until early 2024 I could have rated this service 5+ stars and encouraged many friends to try it. It had a wonderful range of classes to excite, challenge and inspire, all within a philosophy of living well mentally and physically without drugs. This year the offering was significantly changed and no longer inspires me. The physical exercise classes are good, as is the nutrition sessions, but everything else is dumbed down and far too much navel gazing, which I find depressing. The challenge aspect has gone. I am still wanting to explore new initiatives not do boring things like origami, or listen to other members holiday tales, or the pharmacy advice slot. In some ways the change has forced me to explore other platforms, and I have found what I need elsewhere but I would have been happy to have paid £10 a week for the quality offering I originally signed up to.
I definitely don’t recommend to friends now, in fact I say to avoid, which is very sad to do.

"Just loving it! "
Many of us have been loyal members since Care Visions changed its name to Goldster. Personally, I found it to be a Godsend during Covid as it offered so much. Recently, big changes were introduced and quite a few of us long-standing members were sad to be losing tutors and classes that were so enjoyed.
I decided to hang around and see what emerged.
I have to say that I am loving it. Class options are widening and old favourites such as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Gentle Yoga have been re-introduced. Some of our favourite tutors are back too. I have severe Osteoarthritis and have signed up to the new course for Managing Cronic Pain, which is run by a Doctor. I'm finding it really useful. There is also a course to help you manage your weight. I've tried the new Somatic Healing, Tai Chi and am having fun learning French.Lots of old favourites classes are there; some in a slightly different form. There are so many different opportunities that are passionately delivered by highly qualified and experienced tutors who will reach out to you personally if you have questions. I honestly can't think where else you would get so much for just £10 a month. I for one, am so glad that I gave the new Goldster a chance. Well done and thank you all!

"I’ve found the transition to the new…"
I’ve found the transition to the new system difficult and frustrating.
Some of the classes seem to be ‘dumbed down’ and communication has been difficult…missing emails, no emails

"Great Site"
So far, so good for me. A relatively low annual fee has meant I've been able to trial different subjects e.g. French, Pilates and I've found the website easy to navigate - something I was a bit concerned about. The daily emails with the click through link are good, too, as it reminds me what's on. I've found management to be very engaged with us - they seem to take on feedback and listen to ideas for other classes. I suspect like a lot of companies, once Covid ended, there had to be a period of change.

"Sinking Ship with no leadership "
What used to be an incredible platform is now destroyed by a CEO who proudly displays callous disregard for customers or staff. The majority of expert tutors were dumped without notice after 3 years of building the business, and the resignation of the MD a year ago was kept hidden from everyone. The CEO’s refusal to engage or create mechanisms for staff communication, and complete lack of transparency in every respect, makes the past Goldster claims of care and community a hypocritical farce.

"No longer my favourite channel…"
I would have recommended Goldster a year ago, having been a member since Covid lockdowns, and I have given them good reviews on their website as to the content and value for money Sadly, however, anyone looking to join now and reading their website content might not realise the programme has changed. Tutors have been fired to save money and the content bears no resemblance to when I signed up. Instead of 8 art classes a week with two tutors, there is now one tutor with 2 classes. Their treatment of the other tutor bordered on vindictiveness, as members' posts praising her talents as a tutor seemed to irritate the Management team so much, they fired her without notice. Subscribers now have 40 odd exercise classes and a few oddments under the wellbeing heading. It had the makings of a brilliant resource for people who were alone, needed help with health issues, age, art, pain relief, exercise and nutrition but now it is a shadow of its former self.

"Beware! Goldster has changed!"
I was a member of Goldster for several years since COVID, when I joined for the art classes, and it was brilliant! At that time I would have given it 5 stars. However, it has now become very different. It seems to now be gearing its platform to those in care homes and is using American-speak - a load of waffle that means nothing. They sacked a lot of our favourite tutors at short notice and reduced the art classes to 2 two-hour classes a week, increasing exercise classes to over 40 hours! Who wants that much exercise? The CEO is rude and unprofessional. They pretend to care but they didn't consult any of us before bringing in these horrible changes. I and many others have now left the platform. What a shame! If they'd asked, I'm sure most of us would have been happy to increase our subscription rate if we could have kept the classes and tutors we loved.
I notice they have posted a reply. This consists of the same platitudes they have given us before (almost word for word) which mean nothing as they have obviously not made their classes 'more balanced'. They don't actually care about anything but their reputation, which I think is irreparably damaged.

"I'm out"
This used to be a great site but a recent revamp has ridden roughshod over members' and tutors' views. We are now told that negative comments will be removed from FB but conversely that "support for individual tutors makes the platform look bad'. They have treated tutors very badly and removed most of the art classes which are so beneficial to our health, which is what the site claims to promote. I have cancelled my membership

"There aren’t adequate words to describe…"
There aren’t adequate words to describe the major impact Goldster has had not only on my life but it’s influence extended to my family, friends and others at large. After experiencing the benefits I reaped at Goldster,I couldn’t hold back when I emerged a changed person. Those who have known me were amazed and questions started flowing in. I have now introduced more than 25 people to Goldster and the number keeps increasing. Let’s all shout to others about this wonderful platform which is changing peoples’ lives for the better. Hooray to Goldster and thank you. 🦋
