"I asked Lemlec to install a 7KW…"

I asked Lemlec to install a 7KW electric car charger for me on my garage wall. The garage already has an electrical supply which I barely use but because I might plug in a 3KW heater etc that might overload the circuit so I needed to install a separate supply.
As they're the experts I accepted their quote of £2200 for this and paid 50% deposit. A few days later I discover that the charger I'm installing has a feature where it can automatically adjust its power draw based on other demand on the circuit. There is no need for another cable, I don't need extra holes drilled, the garden and path dug up and it would be £1000 cheaper.
They won't let me cancel, won't refund my deposit and claim the Chief Executive Officer is on holiday.
Avoid this company, they are not the experts they say they are.

After recently contacting Lemlec for help to repair my boiler, after being let down by 2 other engineers given to me by my insurance company. I got through to a guy called Sam from Lemlec who was so reassuring and outstandingly helpful and managed to sort out an engineer that day. John the Lemlrc engineer came out and with excellent friendly service sorted out my boiler and saved me and my 8 year old son from going a whole week without hot water and heating after a nightmare week. Highly highly recommend Lemlec, quality reliable service with great friendly communication. Thanks for all your help soooo appreciated.
