My dogs are getting up in age. I definitely want to make them as comfortable as possible in their old age. I want them to stay as healthy as possible. I got these for my pom who’s 11 years old as a way to maintain his eye health. I’ve added these onto his meals and he eats it so he must like the bacon flavor!

Based on reviews, I have confidence in this product. Also, in communicating with Heliostatix, I learned that they do maintain a store on Amazon.

My puppers is getting up there in age and I can tell he can’t see as well as he used to. I purchased these to help prevent any eye issues from developing. He enjoys taking them as a treat and it gives me some peace of mind that I’m helping him.

I couldn’t have found this product at a more perfect time! My French Bulldog was diagnosed with a hereditary auto-immune eye disease that we need to stay on top of for the rest of his life. I was really discouraged because I didn’t think the eye drops we were prescribed by the vet were doing enough to help his eyes heal and not digress further. I did some reading online and found this LumenPro eye supplement for dogs and was so excited to add it to the regimen to keep his eyes as healthy as possible. So far so good, I’m really excited to see how this helps him long term!

"I have been giving my 9 year old…"

I have been giving my 9 year old Boston, Luna these drops for 3 weeks, twice a day, as directed into her left eye and haven't seen any improvement. Actually the cataracts have progressed, but I am continuing to use them and am hopeful. The drops were delivered to Poland, Europe with no problem, no issues with the bottle, no issue with customs.

Just for a little history that could be interesting/useful for others dealing with this issue. In September 2019 Luna had cataract surgery on her right eye as the cataract developed extremely rapidly and I wanted to be pro-active and have the surgery done while the cataract was still immature.

Otther than her eye problems, Luna is in perfect health. She's very active, athletic, and not diabetic. It turned out that she had a severe eye injury in her right eye that wasn't detected until during surgery, due to which she couldn't get a new lens put in. All looked ok after the surgery, other than the usual post-op inflammation, but unfortunately the inflammation didn't subside, after many trials of drops, pills, anti inflammatory, steroids, etc - and her retina has been irreversibly damaged and she lost all sight in her right eye. This apparently happens in around 5 percent of dogs after cataract surgery. Their body just doesn't fight off the inflammation. The right eye looks fine, though smaller, and feels softer (you can tell by touching the top of the eye) because the pressure is really low - 4 -5.

When the cataracts starting progressing in her left eye, I bought LumenPro drops for her, since I don't want to operate her left eye - and have been advised to wait by two eye doctors, based on how she reacted to the cataract surgery in her right eye, until she's essentially blind and there's nothing to lose. I would of course rather have these drops work, rather than taking a chance on another surgery, so I'm not giving up.. yet.

For now, Luna struggles a bit in the dark, sometimes bumps into things, but is still joyful and playful. She chases balls, using her ears and nose along with what's left of her vision, she can still occasionally catch a frisbee in the air, jumps onto the couch with no problem.

"update after second bottle"

This is actually an updated review of a previous post. When I wrote the first review, I stated little eye improvement, but would update after a second bottle. I’m done with second bottle, and I must report that I don’t see any improvement in my dog’s eyes or sight. I really wanted this to work , for Cali (my pet) is nearly blind. She has no night vision and only “movement-sight” in light. The vet says it is age, although she is only 9-10 years old. I don’t doubt the other reviewers . I’m sure this product has worked for some dogs, but I really think it depends on the CAUSE of the limited sight that determines its effectiveness. Was it worth the $180 to try? For me, yes. I guess I was buying hope, and if it had worked , it would have been a great bargain.

"Scam artists"

Rip-offs! After waiting longer than 3 weeks for my order to the Netherlands and having to pay a duty of 20 Euro. I discovered that they sent me an old formula that contains Benzyl Alcohol that expires in April 2020. When you pay full price and almost the same amount in shipping and tax you would think that they would send you a good product. After contacting them they flat out lied several times and refuses to give me my money back. Or even tell me that the product is safe. Don't waste your time and money with people who think that because you live in another country that they can scam you and it also shows no respect for our beloved pets. Report to the FDA.
