"Nat 5 Chemistry"

Jamie has been a fantastic support for my son who was struggling with his Nat 5 Chemistry. After failing his prelim he began working with Jamie and immediately had a better understanding of many of the concepts he covered. Working through past paper questions also helped to build his confidence and prepared him well for his exam. He has now sat his Nat 5 exam and is quietly confident that he has secured a pass. Central Tutors, supported my son on his Nat5 Maths preparation after lower than expected prelims results . On contacting Central tutors Jamie he was polite and very knowledge and advise on a 15min introduction to full understand what support was required. Once the review was carried out Central Tutors put us in contact with Cameron who we commenced weekly 1 hour classes with. Through this time my son gained in confidence and knowledge in preparing for his Nat 5 exam.

The lessons are on line and Jamie creates a relaxed atmosphere such that the students feel comfortable discussing any specific maths problems they have. Jamie began by offering a (free) Zoom call to introduce himself and for him to meet us. This was enormously reassuring as we knew from the outset that his approach was extremely professional and, more importantly, our daughter could relate to his methods of teaching. The difference has been fantastic. Our daughter's confidence has grown substantially and her knowledge has clearly increased well beyond her previous level - this has already been reflected in her School anticipated exam result. Really professional, well organised tutoring by Jamie. V good comms prior to and after each session. Offers additional sessions in lead up to exams. Small online groups seems to work well. Son certainly enjoys them and says they are v useful. We we're originally trying to find an in person tutor but in hindsight I think central tutors approach is better. Highly recommend.
