"Excellent training for First Aid MRS training Cowdenbeath"

Have just returned to work having done a two day intensive but thorough training for First Aid at the Cowdenbeath branch in order to update my qualification which is renewed every three years. I have attended the course at the Cowdenbeath branch 3 times and I can't fault it. There seems to be a number of changes to the protocol which the trainers keep you up to date with. Within the classroom and the building there is scope for class discussion and some hands on practical training too. The trainers are highly knowledgeable as they have had a lot of life experience themselves and incidences that they have delt with first hand. The test was manageable at the end and I we were issued a book to accompany the course that can be referred to anytime its needed. Class members came from different career paths and experiences so that was also a plus. I must also mention it was lovely being supplied with lunch which was a definite added bonus! Plenty to choose from and very fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend for training.

Attended a Confined Space Entry City and Guilds course at the Aberdeen training centre and have nothing but praise for the way the course was run. I recently sat a managing safely course with Emma at MRS. The course was very informative and Emma was a excellent teacher. She was very knowledgeable and experienced in her role. Fire warden training was delivered by a very knowledgeable and experienced trainer who made it easy for those attending to understand the course content, which had the correct balance of theory and practical, simplifying for those attending for the first time and maintaining the correct level for those with previous experiences.

"NOT RELIABLE !!!!!!"

Having booked my GWOs with plenty of notice, the earliest i could get in was a week before i had planned to mobilize on a job. This was not a problem until i had an email 5 days before the course was scheduled due to lack of delegates. I understand company's not willing to run courses at a loss, however i feel five days notice is not nearly enough and could of resulted in a missed job opportunity. I was lucky enough to get in elsewhere on super short notice, and also lucky enough to have the funds available to fund the course for a second time as the refund was just as sloppy as the course cancellation notice.
