[edit: I have changed rating to 4 stars. They have made contact and given necessary assurances. I am still disappointed at the time taken, and effort required, for something so straightforward. However I do understand the pressure they will be under due to recent flight issues. So as I say changed to 4 stars, as I don’t want to adversely affect an overall strong score. I suppose the real measure would be how they handled any real claim, and fortunately I have not had to call on that. I’m giving the company the benefit of the doubt, and putting it down as a temporary blip]
How do I actually speak with a human employee? Having effected policy online I always like to talk to someone at the company that purports to supply my cover. A bit of them confirming what they know of you. Just do that so when in resort if I have an issue I won’t have the fear of no assistance. Imagine if my first contact was in resort, with an issue, and phone number does not even ring? You’d be ‘sweating buckets’!!
Rang yesterday. No number on website connects. Does not even ring. To be fair I emailed and same day got response saying try Saturday when lines are quieter? What use is that?!? I tried ‘after 3’ today per website. Guess what? Does not even ring, just cuts off.
I’ve emailed again, also DM tweeted, now logging here. I’ll be honest after sending these I’ve sent in one flurry, not waited for each to not respond. They may yet surprise!
When I decided to go with this company it was the overall high score here that clinched it. I may have to get a carrier pigeon and let that fly to them 🤣
Now Holiday Insurers, how do I get to speak to someone to provide the assurance I now need?
