Bitwarden

"Bitwarden does it all - securely."
I've been using Bitwarden *(BW) for a few months after years of keeping my passwords in KeePass. I switched in order to simplify keeping passwords synchronized among our multiple devices running Linux, ChromeOS, Android, Windows and iOS. Bitwarden does it all.
This open-source PW manager is well designed and implemented. Your "master" password is never transmitted to their servers - all encryption/decryption takes place on your devices. Setup is easy, and it will import your data from almost any other password manager. The "autofill" functions on desktop/laptop browsers works extremely well. We use it primarily with Chrome, Edge, Opera and Brave browsers.
Security settings enable a lot of flexibility. Two-factor authentication protection using "Authy" is free, advanced 2FA with FIDO, U2F, DUO, YubiKey support requires payment of $10 per YEAR. It has a built-in TOTP generator to increase convenience for use with your banking and other websites with TOTP authentication. It even autofills your generated TOTP 2FA keys if you'd like.
BW also has features for secure access to your password vault by others you designate should you expire or become disabled. In our digital world, it is essential that one provide a way for their heirs to access accounts for proper closure when required. BW has you covered.
The BW team has put together a comprehensive HELP and User Training site, complete with videos of many functions. Go to their web-site and click the "Help" link to get details of BW's functions.
Users can back-up their BW vault(s) using encrypted .json files exported from BW. OR, export un-encrypted .json then import to a KeePass file for use as a backup.
My wife and I absolutely love BW! It has made things much easier for both of us. While we have chosen some premium features (cost $10/year), many users can get what they need with the free version.
Try Bitwarden - you won't need a lot of time to get to know it, and you'll be pleased with how well it works.

"I am very thankful for this"
I am very thankful for this, most password managers do not have a free option and I have no money but still like my privacy. The android app works pretty well. Better than the others I have tried. It fails to pop up here and there but for the most part, it is perfect. The desktop apps are nice and so are the browser plugins. Very good company, I highly recommend.

No trouble recommending this great software. Swapped from LastPass due to them changing their pricing structure and have been so very pleased with the usability!

"Really good password manager"
I'm amazed at how well this fares for a free app. You can create and store unique passwords, update them when visiting similar sites and mobile apps that use the same username and passwords so you're not having to create individual logins for each one, and you can hide sensitive data in case someone peers over your shoulder. You can sort your logins into custom folders for easier location and add custom notes to them. It's very versatile and what's more it's FREE.
The only thing missing is a desktop application autofill which would get a 5th star from me. Granted it's a free app and we should all be greatful we even get this much for free, but I sure wouldn't mind paying a small fee if it would unlock desktop application autofill.
