I purchased a computer from AdvanceTec a month ago and I have had no problems what so ever, it runs great. I purchased a Phenom dual core and the guys there offered to “unlock” the chip and make it a quad core so now I have a great new quad core system for the price of a dual core and I also got five free games….. AWSOME!!!

"I am not a thief!"
I ordered an item from their website, and because I am working 5 days a week (what a surprise, isn't it?), I made sure I put my _office_ as a delivery address. I paid by card.
Unfortunately, asking me to send them a fax on the company paper to prove I work here is violating my sense of trust for the customer. I WOULD have to sign the parcel and show my ID first to collect it, wouldn't I? After all, I decided to cancel my order.
Therefore, I am rating as low as 1, as company has ridiculous policy and treats customers as thieves. For those of you who order stuff online for no fuss, robust and quick service, Advancetec is a F A I L U R E.

"Fast delivery."
I recently bought a budget AMD system, with a graphics card, it was about £500 in total, I was completely amazed when 4 days later it arrived on my doorstep, it was very well built and worked perfectly, I will definately be coming back when I upgrade in the future, Thank you very much advancetec.

"Pricey but worth it"
I went to the store itself and wanted to upgrade my old AMD FX55 system that had lasted me for sometime. They gave me answers I didnt want to hear, i.e no cpu for motherboard and no motherboard for cpu and memory out of date. In the end i walked away couple days later with an i7 based system. The system was built to an extremely high standard. The case (antec 902) had a window so i liked the fact that nearly all of the cables were hidden. which cables werent hidden were nicely tied up. System runs smooth and fast no hiccups as yet. Runs all the latest games superbly.
Well worth the money i paid. No fuss. The Salesman was knowledgable but wasnt arrogant enough not to ask the techie (very gruff) for advice.

"Poor Delivery and poor customer service"
Despite me phoning this company on at least 3 occassions, I still have received the items that I have ordered and paid for.
I have been assured that the goods have been dispatched and told that the I would be reimbursed the P&P and I would be phoned back.
Despite these promises Istill have not received a refund or my goods if I do get all of what I have paid for I will have no hesitation in reporting this company to the OFT because I am tired of speaking to people and being fobbed of with excuses because when I asked for a tracking number and what company would be delivering my order I got no reply but told that I would be called later the same day.

"My Windows 7 mess-up"
I purchased Windows 7 and when it arrived i realised that i had got the Windows 7 UPGRADE, I left a ticket on there support site and it was responded to within the hour (awsome!) i explained my situation and30 mins later a Returns Rep contacted me with a returns number, i returned the un-opened upgrade and they sent me the real deal before the end of the week.
I have to comment that although it took a couple of days for me to return and recieve the correct copy i was well impressed with the service as many companys would have told me to get lost if it came to software (i knowfrom experiance with AV software).
i have read the review of mr Flower and can only say. . .HAVE WE DELT WITH THE SAME COMPANY??? and i belive that "A Flower" may be an alias for a customer with a personal grudge against a desent company.

Posted a bad review about the company totally deserved because of their terrible service and they THREATENED me with legal action.
What a great company, NOT.
Maybe if you concentrated on getting your service up to scratch then you wouldn’t get these bad reviews.

"Awful customer service"
I bought a Joystick and it was delivered the next day and all was well. But. It stopped working after about 6 months so I returned it to them to be repaired and 3 months later I still have no joystick or refund.
Fair enough there were complications with the joystick being discontinue, but their was never any communication of effort on their part, I had to chase them up constantly. I must have rang them 30 times and sent a dozen emails and each time they said "oh yes such and such has happened, it will be here next week".
They NEVER ring me to let me know what is happening. Useless customer service. You really do get the feeling that this is a little shop trying to get into internet sales and failing to meet the standards required.
