This was one of the best trips we have taken. There was an Andean representative waiting for us at the airports and handled all issues that arose. Our personal guide in Peru was amazing and a wealth of information. I would highly recommend them as a first rate tour agency.

"The tour guides were top rate"

The tour guides were top rate, both in the Galapagos and in Cusco/Machu Picchu. They all had extensive inside knowledge of our locations. They were also flexible when things didn't happen according to schedule. My only minor complaints are that we were a bit overscheduled on the Galapagos Legend, and there was more rocking of the boat than expected for such a large ship. Would bring sea sickness patches next time.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Galapagos Islands With our son and grandchildren. Andean staff really helped us plan activities that all of us ages 11 to 78 could enjoy together. Plus, Andean’s arrangements were executed professionally and everything went smoothly to and from Quito to the islands. We had amazing experiences snorkeling, watching wildlife, hiking/walking to interesting places, zip lining, snacking on native fruits, and appreciating how special this place is and needs to be protected. Our guides took a personal interest in us and kept us informed and on track for all of the activities. We loved staying on Isabela on the beach side and the grandkids wanted to stay on this peaceful and interesting island. Our accommodations were very nice and we loved eating in local places. When we asked the boys about what they thought about this family vacation, the boys said...this is the real deal, forget Disneyland. Thank you for an amazing week long vacation.

My husband and I returned a week+ ago from THE most fabulous trip ever--the Ecuadorian Amazon, the Galapagos Islands, and Peru......EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME--and that is because of ANDEAN DISCOVERY!!!! From personalizing our trip with the WONDERFUL staff in Boston (extremely knowledgeable and outstanding follow-through, very detail-oriented).......to the TREMENDOUSLY FABULOUS tour guides throughout our trip--we could not have asked for a better experience!!!! Every person that met us at the assorted airports and toured us here/there/everywhere--and every step of the way--OUTSANDING!!!! Knowledgeable, extremely helpful, love their countries and love sharing, kind, considerate........great food, lodging!! Throughout our trip, I hugged and kissed every guide and driver that we had the pleasure of being with--truly, outstanding!!! Highly recommend--and already have! THANK YOU!!!!
