Fantastic and prompt service - we are regular customers with Blue Flame and get our boilers serviced by them every year. We already had an appointment for one Worcester gas boiler to be serviced and they were very accommodating in adding an appointment to look at our other boiler (we live in two family connected households) which had stopped working. Engineer was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable - found that our pump had failed for one boiler and an unsuspected gas leak with the other! It’s just so nice to feel you can trust the engineer and know you’re getting a great service.

"BlueFlame Cannot be trusted"
Have a Worcester oil combi boiler serviced by BlueFlame a week ago (Serviced annually for the last 10 years since new), lad who came seemed inexperienced and had to go outside to phone the office to ask for help several times, should have been a red flag. Said my expansion tank had burst and needed a new one despite it working perfectly but it would continue to work while I waited for parts, he didn't know how long to get parts or how much it would cost, but the office would contact me. One week later the office had not contacted me but at the same time the boiler stopped working all together. Electrician came round and said there seemed to be a fault in the boiler itself as it kept blowing fuses. When I rang BlueFlame back to get help they, started asking how old the boiler was and who used to service it, then tried to rubbish the guy who used to service it saying he only "tried to keep boilers going" instead of fixing them properly. My Boiler had a 7 year warranty and was only 10 years old and there was nothing wrong with it, they said it was old and in terrible condition. When I pushed him to try to understand exactly what he meant after taking my money for a service and leaving me thinking I would have the fault fixed by the service engineer, he then said he didn't want my business and I should contact Worcester themselves directly because his guys cannot fix boilers they can only service and install..... he then hung up.... Not sure you really would want this company do conduct your servicing if they cannot deal with any sort of tricky issue...... I felt completely insulted and let down for the so called "local experts"... not! They say they record all calls for training purposes, so that would be a really good listen. I've made an appointment with Worcester and look forward to them coming and diagnosing properly the expansion tank and letting me know root cause of the new electrical failure and to see how good the service completed by Blue Flame was.....
Thankyou for the response, after a thorough service and review by Worcester, they fixed the expansion tank which needed replacing that Blue flame had not responded to after the service, and fixed all the issues including a blocked pump which had triggered the breakdown after the service which in their opinion should have been picked up during the service. Anyhow, all is fixed now and I stand by my original statement and review that asking any company to service means they need to be competent and capable of remedying anything that comes from the service and not be able to just say “go to the experts” especially when these service companies typically state that they are your local experts. In future, I will only use companies that have a track record of being able to properly support, in this case, that will not be Blue Flame I’m afraid. Worcester did an amazing job and everything was fixed within the visit charge and have had no issues since. They even made clear I should get at least another 10 years from this boiler if serviced correctly. Even if they are not capable, it does not excuse the attitude of not wanting someone’s business, not even reviewing their own work, not responding to a fault they found at the service (broken expansion chamber), because it’s difficult and then hanging up… listen to your recorded conversations “for training and monitoring purposes”….
Your further reply shows you’re in denial, it’s a little like saying when you take your car in for service that we will do the service but if you want anything fixing go to the branded dealer. You took my money for a service, your engineer promised a quote for the expansion tank, was never received, then as I followed up and stated the boiler had broken since the service, you claim that you don’t fix things and I need to go to the manufacturer, your engineer didn’t even notice the blocked pump. I don’t deny it turned out cheaper, but your service offering is flawed and not open to people to know that you’re incapable of repairing anything found during the service, in the end it would have been cheaper for me to have Worcester perform the service and fix everything at one visit. It doesn’t change the fact that I won’t use you again and if asked by anyone I would not be recommending you, not because of your inability to fix, but the whole attitude and method of getting there.
No point in continuing this sort of response, all my other reviews apart from one have actually been very positive and supportive. I think everyone can make their own minds up about companies who cannot take criticism.

Just had a new combi boiler fitted & from start to finish they were brilliant, very professional company who didn't push the hard sell, came when they said they would & the two lads who completed the work I couldn't speak highly enough of, highly recommended & will definitely use them again, thank you 👍

Superb service from Patrick and the team at Blue Flame. My mum needed a new boiler and for it to be relocated. After receiving a huge quote and a January fitment date from British Gas, we enlisted Blue Flame. They quoted quickly and even helped with some minor repairs. The boiler was fitted that same week and the guys were fantastic, working non stop with minimal fuss. Then a nice set of flowers to top things off.

"What a let down. Unprofessional and unhelpful."
We have been clients of Blue Flame for about 5 years and this year we had arranged a bathroom change to a shower room.
We had to telephone them about 4 weeks ago for a start date as we had not heard from them. Date and time was given; 08.00 on 29th April. 6 days prior to the start date I received a phone call from Blue Flame asking if they could initiate the works on the Wednesday before the given start date but unfortunately we could not oblige because both my wife and I had hospital appointments - one in Hexham. And the other in Carlisle at the end of that week.
However come Monday 29th April no one turned up at 8am. Both my wife and I had got up early this morning to remove everything from the bathroom - not the easiest of tasks when we are both disabled. 08.30 came and went as did 09.00. Still no show.
At 09.40 I telephoned the head office and said I’m waiting and was told in these words:
“Oh we are not coming today, we wrote to you over the weekend, or Friday, may have been Thursday to say we can’t start the job until the next day”.
I explained to the lady that you have my phone number why did you not call me to arrange this?
The reply of “well, we sent a letter” is not good enough. It is unprofessional and most certainly not appreciated.
I told Blue Flame not to bother turning up to do the job when they choose to, I shall go somewhere else that wants my custom and are professional.
