One star is all I can award this company.
At the start of the agreed contract 18 months ago even with the difficulties of the pandemic we had regular updates.
Sadly this has turned into a disappointing and upsetting experience all while we were grieving .
The last communication was in august .
Since December 2021 my many requests for an update received the response ‘ I’ll get back to you ‘.
Last month I registered my complaint and was told it was hoped they would respond in 7 days .
To date I have heard nothing .
The service we have experienced is very poor

We had a very difficult transaction to deal with and Stirling made sure at each stage we were protected and looked after. Lauren was always on hand to help move things on through Covid, even when Govt agencies were slow to respond. For our business it was about having solicitors who were honest and straightforward and that's just what we had from Rowberrys. Very happy with our outcome.

If there were a no star option, that would get my vote. I wish I had looked up Trustpilot before ever engaging with this firm as it appears that my experience is not untypical.
Eager to complete a lease extension as swiftly as possible, I drove over to their office to take the papers on the day after I first spoke to them. Like others, I then had six months of follow up phone calls and emails that were ignored. When I finally rang to say that I was using another solicitor, an email finally appeared with an attachment that was supposed to have been sent to me a month before. It had not and I hope that Mr Halliday realises that while you can put any old date on an attachment letter, you cannot backdate emails.
Miraculously, since I have made this a formal complaint with the firm, I am getting next day responses. But I remain at a financial loss for the delay to my lease extension and the cost of a second survey as the original one had elapsed. Rowberrys are also still holding my whole file of documentation on the flat. So, I too plan to refer this to the Legal Ombudsman. I'm so glad I never get round to deleting emails as I have full documentation on this sad saga.
My new firm incidentally acted within days. I feel very angry and upset at this cavalier treatment from Rowberrys. They have treated me like a fool.
