I thought I had to get tickets through 'Eventim' - they charged an extra £4.72 for a £9 ticket that was a download and that I could have got from the venue's website directly at face value had I realised... very disappointed

I booked Strictly Come Dancing tickets for my mum who has dementia and my sister( her caregiver) in September. This was a greatly appreciated Christmas present.
I specifically chose Eventim as they provide paper tickets and mum could keep this in her memory folder.
I have not received tickets for the event which is in less than a fortnight and I am flying to Australia on Saturday.
I have been unable to find a phone number but sent an email explaining this to Eventim and expressing my concern for how this will affect her mental health as we have been talking about it since Christmas. I also offered to send a copy of mum’s Power of Attorney ticket to demonstrate I am not a ticket tout. Also, pointed out that my husband and I have an account with Eventim so our history could be checked
I have just received a generic response saying I should get in touch if I haven’t received tickets within 3 days of the event.
By this time I will be on a cruise around Australia.
The suggestion from Zane was to send my mum a Save The Date message.
I am really upset and hoping I can get some help from the event venue.
I advise people in similar circumstances to check the small print carefully. It looks like the days of legitimately gifting loved ones paper tickets are over. Well, they are with Eventim

More than six weeks ago I paid for two tickets with your site..
An amount not without consequence yet to this date I have no receipt no acknowledgement and no tickets!
When do you plan on sending me the necessary?
