"Fansale seat tickets removed in favour of standing"

Bought 3 stall seat tickets for Hammersmith Apollo. One person couldn't make it. I offered the spare ticket on the Eventim fansale site for selling unwanted tickets at a lower price than I paid. No takers. Then on the last day all the fansale ticket offers disappeared off the site and Eventim started selling standing tickets. Thanks Eventim.

I'm about to use the site to resell tickets for Paul Carrock that I can't make in September, so based on all the feedback of buyers I'll be avoiding this site like the plague as they resell them probably for over the market value from what I gage, but non the less they won't be getting my business.
Thanks to all reviews as you've saved me a massive headache.

"Will never use again"

Will never use again. Bought tickets to an event in Maidstone, we turned up to the event and about 50 people (with valid tickets) were turned away because the seats had been double booked. We were told by the venue that we had to claim a refund from Eventim. They did refund the tickets but minus the £9 booking fee. (I already think £9 is excessive). I think this is disgusting. Why should I be down this money when the company messed up. I accept that I was already out of pocket for baby sitters and parking. I have emailed a complaint but had no response. Terrible customer service.

"Extortionate added costs"

The booking experience was fine and straight forward but the Booking fee and Venue levy are extortionate adding almost 25% on to the cost! How can that be justified?

"Security staff are thugs / managers incompetent"

The security staff are nothing short of thugs. My girlfriend was manhandled out of the venue for nothing. The bar always has issues here, and this time they ran out of wine in the stalls bar. She went out to the foyer but then wasn't allowed back in due to a stupid rule with the app not allowing screenshots, hence she needed to take a photo of the ticket on my phone. The totally over-zealous security then physically threw her out into the rain, with no jacket. We will be pursuing assault charges. The bar is totally mismanaged. At the Mercury Music Prize a while back, it was a FIASCO. The machines all stopped working, I missed all the acts I wanted to see. It's not good enough for the money we pay. And all the issues are THEIR fault, not ours. I will be avoiding this place at all costs. How can Brixton lose it's licence and this place be allowed to keep theirs? EDIT - I bought tickets through this website and have been denied a refund. Also for the mercury music prize where the shambolic bar failures meant that people missed half of it.

Tickets for event at Hammersmith Apollo were only available through Eventim.Pass - meaning that you must own a smartphone and download their app if you want to attend a concert. Wasted almost £100.
