"Reason for alteration of plans"

Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that we were staying in Rhodes for the night and not put on the ferry to Tilos which we had booked. There was nobody there to explain why this was the case. However
The hotel we stayed at was excellent well looked after the staff there were very helpful and pleasant. Food out of this world. It wasn’t until we arrived at our accommodation in Ilidi Rock hotel that we discovered that there had been a ferry strike the day before. It would have been helpful to have been told that in the first place. The transfers there after went seamlessly thanks to Joanne’s organisation. Tilos is a lovely quiet island which suited us very well although the steps at the hotel were quite challenging.

"Holiday at Tsivili on Zante"

Hotel was in quiet part of Resort but only few minutes walk from beach, shops and restaurants. V friendly staff, great pool and breakfast on verandah. Great swimming from beach. Best was constant assistance from Amanda, the holiday rep. when daughter fell ill and went to hospital. Eternally grateful to her. Rhian

"Returned from my holiday in Greece just…"

Returned from my holiday in Greece just two days ago sad to be back!

My holiday was lovely however I was very disappointed when I arrived in Greece to find the hotel I was staying at was not up to standards, dirty, quite far out from the centre of things. I found the cleaning at my hotel was not done weekly never mind daily the floors always thick with dust and muck food still left on plates cups dirty ceilings lamps hanging off, I found two toe nails in my bed this room was not suitable for me and my small child I paid 1600 to stay in a room that was just dirty, I actually spent two nights in this hotel due to the details stated above if it hadn’t of been for my parents staying in Greece at the time in a different hotel I would of got a flight home. However the rep Amanda did come out to see me the day after I arrived to try and re locate me she wasn’t successful in doing tbis however did speak with my hotel to arrange and advise that I would be staying with parents she helped with my pick up and has since been helping me with booking my next holiday for 2024 Amanda was excellent appreciate all her help

The Island of Symi was beautiful.
The accommodation at Kaminos was superb. Clean and had everything you needed. It was in a quiet area. The breakfast was lovely and everyone kind and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

"Disappointing Experience at Demetra Studios, Nydri, Lefkas."

Just returned from Demetra Studios in Nydri Lefkas. Have been before but would not recommend it now as it has become very tacky and unwelcoming.
We arrived just after midnight-no information or welcome pack given to us.
On medical grounds we had requested a downstairs room with Olympic only to be told on arrival that no request had been made. Olympic have confirmed George the owner was clearly telling lies.
For three days the toilet in the bathroom leaked and flooded the floor and only when we contacted the rep through the app did she come to the Studios and persuade the owner to organise a plumber to come and fix it.
The place is advertised with a pool and pool bar with sun beds etc. There are approximately 6-7 sun beds crammed in a small space at the far end of the pool to accommodate 40 odd residents.
The rest of the area to the side of the pool and around the bar has been franchised out as a commercial enterprise and we were clearly told this by the bar manager and his wife. Residents can only frequent this area if they buy food or drinks from the bar which seem to be more expensive than local bars and cafes. In short, the pool bar is not an amenity for people on holiday in Demetra Studios as advertised by Olympic Holidays, but a separate entity for use by anyone prepared to pay for food and drink.
This holiday experience was extremely disappointing especially in the light of having had several enjoyable holidays there in the past.
Needless to say, we won’t be going back and that places like this damage the reputation of Olympic Holidays as a company.

I have travelled with Olympic Holidays to Rhodes over the past thirty years as a solo traveller. I have always had a positive experience with little or no problems. I have found other travel companies look upon solo travellers as a bit of a problem!, not Olympic. When booking for this holiday Michelle Underhill was excellent, very patient with a great sense of humour, and helpful.

"Really nice hotel."

Really nice hotel.situated perfectly to beach,port & tavernas.
Food was exceptional,service & staff were great.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our room.
The toilet was shabby, no glasses or fruit bowl in room.
The room certainly had a sea view but the very large veranda had a wooden roof, couldn’t see the sense of it.
Our toilet aside I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
