"GiftFly has one job and they're terrible at it"

GiftFly has one job - reliably fulfilling gift card transactions. I bought a gift card from a 3rd party (not their fault) that uses GiftFly to broker the e-gifts. I filled out the contact info correctly (I verified), and it was never sent.

The next day I called their 800 number first thing the next morning. The receptionist said "Steve Silverman" was busy and would need to call me back. After not hearing anything I called them back 8 hours later... Steve was on another call. I asked for an urgent call back in an hour given the time-sensitivity of the e-gift, but no return call.

I'm thinking only 3 people work there - the receptionist, Steve Silverman, and the CEO. Steve and the CEO (maybe the same person?) didn't have time it seems. Had to resort to calling the vendor and asking them to get involved.

GiftFly has only one job: brokering e-gift cards and they've failed miserably. Not sure how you can be in a service business and be that terrible at your job.

Stay away from this company. If something goes wrong you have no recourse.
