We were planning a trip to India to attend a wedding at the end of December. Frankly, we were overwhelmed by all the choices and how to arrange transportation within India. Through the groom, we connected with Maavalan Travel. Over email and then WhatsApp, the owner planned a three-week itinerary that was nothing short of magical. We explored forts, palaces, parks and local neighborhoods. We ate in great restaurants, stayed in beautiful accommodations and were guided to great stores. Maavalan Travels gave me an excellent experience in India and I can't imagine having traveled to the country without going through this travel agent. I have traveled all over the world and have never used a travel agent, and now I can't imagine going anywhere without the help of Maavalan.

I worked with Kawaljeet on crafting an itinerary and making reservations for a 3 week trip to Northern India culminating in a wedding in Jaipur. During the planning phase, Kawaljeet was responsive on email and always took my preferences and feedback into consideration, giving me great advice considering I was traveling alone as a single female. Ultimately I received an itinerary I was very pleased with, and I had no stress considering all my drivers and accommodations were scheduled and vetted.

Once I landed, Kawaljeet picked me up at the airport and was attentive throughout my trip, checking in on me whenever I traveled away from home base in New Delhi. I was very happy with all the drivers, guides, and accommodations he scheduled for me. When my flight to Dharamshala was canceled, he was super helpful in booking a last minute hotel for me and getting me on the flight out the next day. I didn't have to manage anything with the airline or hotel myself, and what a relief that was!
