"Excellent Service"
I was given a next day appointment with an engineer who arrived promptly. He established the issue immediately and resolved the issue that was impacting numerous apartments in the development. The repairs were done quickly, with no mess left behind and an exceptionally friendly service was provided. Richard ensured all individuals issues were resolved before leaving. Cannot rate highly enough, thank you.

"Great Service"
Ian came to my property on Monday but there was an issue with the cable I had in my property which still left me with no TV for 5 days having just moved in. I was told on Monday I may have to wait a couple of weeks which left me quite upset. However, 2 hours later I received a phone call from Applied Broadcast Systems who booked me in as an urgent call and Ian turned up today to install my TV, he was a saviour and went above and beyond in installing the Sky TV and have nothing but praise for his professionalism and hard work to overcome a challenging install. Thank you Ian

"Very difficult company to deal with"
I had arranged with sky an installation date for my mums sky to be installed following a move. This date had been set and confirmed by sky for a number weeks. I had arranged a day off work. A week before they were due I recieved a call from applied broadcast systems who gave me a different date. I tried to explain that we already had a date for installation, it all got so confusing and frustrating that I started to believe that they were a bogus company. I chose to speak to sky directly to confirm if I should be dealing with this company, initially sky thought it was a scam. Sky eventually confirmed I could liaise with this company. Although sky was insistent that my original date of installation was confirmed. I found Applied broadcast systems customer services are extremely difficult to deal with, they are certainly not customer focused, they made it clear they are a business and not there to meet the needs of the customer. They told me I was a liar and rude. Infact they reduced me to tears.
Avoid this company if at all possible. If not prepare yourself for a very difficult expirence

"Awful company"
Awful company, they are in partnership with Sky (another awful company) who are suppose to install Sky Q to my property, they have cancelled 3 times as they want proof of written permission from the management of the building, but we already have a communal system in place and having told them via Sky that i have been given permission and have access to the communal system, they still have not installed. I advise people who are thinking of using not to use them, my experience has been mentally draining and nothing has been solved as yet, don’t know how much more i can take to be honest

"Have been using this company to supply…"
Have been using this company to supply and pay for a communal satellite dish for an elderly relative in Cardiff
Unfortunately the person is suffering from dementia , cancelled the service today as the person will not return home, after asking if there would or could be a refund as there was 6 months outstanding.
Was told bluntly the service is non refundable and the phone was put down on me by a rather rude lady.
Shocking service

"Extra charges for Free Sky Home Move."
This rogue company are subcontractors for Sky TV services.
Sky arranged a Free Home Move for me because I am now considered to be a VIP customer.
The subcontractor called me today to confirm the ‘non standard’ installation of my Sky Q box - because we live in a block of flats with a shared TV signal etc, rather than in a house.
They said that I would need to pay them £125.00 up front by card over the phone before they would commit to the arranged installation.
I refused and explained that it was supposed to be a free Home Move provided by Sky.
They said that because the signal source had to be provided from outside my flat, it would cost £125.00 regardless of what Sky had to say about it.
Spoke to Sky who had no idea that this company was adding charges and they have promised to investigate.
Mind you, Sky said the same thing about this company 5 years ago when they charged me £100.00 to have Sky installed in another flat here.

"Arranged Sky Q installation via Sky for…"
Arranged Sky Q installation via Sky for September, not advised that any further charges would be incurred.
Contacted a day before the installation (on a date different to that arranged with Sky) and advised of £120 non standard installation charge to be paid upfront ahead of installation.
Cancelled Callout and discussed with Sky customer services and assured this wasn’t the case and Sky would cover all installation costs.
Contact from ABS again the next month (October) by this company - same scenario demanding £120 Callout for non standard installation for Sky Q.
Cancelled via Sky and downgraded package to Sky HD which was already connected to the flat and booked for the following month. **Assured** no additional charges would be applied by contractors by Sky as straight forward plug and play connection to a flat with existing sky cabling and dish.
ABS contractors called today demanding £125 Callout charge for a flat already connected to Sky. State contractors wouldn’t come out unless callout payment is made upfront.
Major red flag for a company to be making demands for upfront payment before any service is even provided plus additional payments not confirmed by Sky.
Will be writing to Sky with major complaint about this company. This company are charging Sky for the installation and unsuspecting customers too including pensioners. Disgusting.

"Awful company"
Awful company, avoid at all costs.
We had the unfortunate experience of Applied Broadcast Systems to install our Sky Q as we live in a flat. There are charges for the installation along with maintenance which you don't get told about until the day of the install, fortunately Sky did refund us for the installation charge, although when we questioned the charges with ABS the manner in which they spoke to us was aggressive and rude. We were told that if we did not pay we would be disconnected, our issue was not paying but rather that we were not told about any charges prior to installation. I asked why they did not send out any information beforehand so that we would be aware of these costs, their response was that they 'avoid unnecessary use of paper' I questioned the forceful and rude approach which their customer service spoke to us when we queried these charges and was told by the Director that the way in which we were spoken to, he does not see a problem with, followed by a condescending email which accepts no care or interest in what we had to say.
If you get Sky Q and live in a flat, be prepared for Sky to not advise of installation charges and be prepared to pay ABS £120 to have it installed and then, them tell you that you will have to pay them maintenance yearly followed by rude customer service led by a poor excuse of a Director.
